Although the lights seems ok (I've not fitted them yet) they're not the colour I was expecting, and that I thought that I'd ordered, they are Black and not White.I specifically wanted White to help blend in with the wall that they will be mounted on, unfortunately, due to time constraints, I will have to use them.Let this be a lesson, the White mentioned in the description refers to the light colour rendering, not the casing.I will update this review accordingly once they are fitted and working.Update: I have now fitted these and I can't say that I am over delighted with them.Firstly, to properly attach them to the wall, it requires you to remove the bracket from the light fitting, fit the bracket to the wall and then reattach the light to the bracket. All time consuming.Secondly, there is no earth connection. This is a metal unit and not of the best quality (ok quality). Only because of the mounting height was I prepared to use them.Thirdly, the provided fixing screws are as soft as ****. If you do buy some of these lights, use your own quality screws to fix these lights to the wall and throw the supplied ones straight into the bin!On a more positive note, the lights are nice and bright.Some people might say that I'm being a bit fussy with my comments but, these reviews help people to make an informed decision as to whether to buy or not to buy.As an Electrician, time for me is money, and safety is paramount.I will not be buying any more of these 👎

Brighter than I expected. I had daylight light prior to these warm light floodlights and warm light is far better in my view

A replacement for 50watt uplighters in our parisch church. They are considerably smaller than the original but brighter and the good spread of warm white makes for a very pleasing result

These floodlights were impressive to me and low energy for light output, and supplied with cable connected to the unit made installation easier. Recommended.I only gave 4 stars because although the item was unmarked when came out of box, the plastic 'bag' containing supplied screws and wall plugs had been torn open and only one stainless steel screw was there. I only need 4 screws to mount the fitting but there are 3 wall plugs in each bag so 5 screws not supplied / missing. Was this item a returned one having been opened by someone else. I did not order from Amazon Warehouse where an item can be supplied opened perhaps with parts missing. Nuisance. Happened before , and not liking it.

Fitted one in each half of my loft, superb.

Wanted a simple on/off light to fit behind the garage. This lamp does the job admirably. Comes ready to fit. Simply screw the bracket in place (you can take the light off while you do it), adjust the light to the right angle and then connect to a mains socket. The 3 core cable fitted is a decent length of 1.5m but will almost certain;ly need to be extended. Simple to do if you are electrically aware but, if in doubt, get an expert to do it. Well made and I imagine it will be pretty waterproof. Of course you canot replace the LED's but for £15 it would be almost as as cheap to buy a new one! Highly recommended.

This LED 50w floodlamp was a replacement for a 30w equivalent that failed after only a few months and I expected to see a significant increase in the light output.It looks to be made well enough and whilst I have no experience of how weatherproof it is, I've awarded 4 stars based on that.Fitting was easy enough using 2 screws into the existing wooden plinth from the original lamp and then just the usual 3 wires to connect in the junction box adjacent to the lamp.This lamp is classed as 'cool white' and is certainly that, being very stark, almost pale blue.The actual light output is not noticeably brighter than the original 30w example and whilst it's ok, it's slightly disappointing.Maybe it's too high being under the eaves of a 2 story house, around 15' (4.5m) off the ground but a 500w incandescent lamp near to it is much brighter despite it being the equivalent of a 50w led.It's ok but would not buy it again, and I would not buy 'cool white' either.

I bought the light without the motion sensor. The light is brighter than it’s replacement and has lasted well with no issues.
