These glasses are a great value for the money. The lenses, fit & finish are commendable. A good deal considering their affordable cost. I know from experience, I have purchased other brands, all more costly, that have been inferior to these. For the above reasons, I would purchase again. However, the case/s included are junk: small and cheap…I think their QC went to sleep in the case department. Or else the manufacturer decided this is/was the place to cut cost & corners. A shame. Would have rated 5-stars if not. Just sayin’.

Have ordered and used this brand of reading glasses for a number of years and have never been disappointed They have always arrived on time and have been true to the strength of their lenses. Will continue to order this style when I need a new pair.

I’ve used these a LOT while traveling, the case has taken a beating and has protected the glasses very well. Glasses are clear, no complaints.

This review is for the "DoubleTake: 2 Pairs of Classic Spring Hinged Half Rim Reading Glass with Slim Hard Case for Men and Women". I was more than a little pleasantly surprised by the quality of both the reading glasses and the protective hard cases that came with them. Both impressed me the moment I opened the cases and saw what I'd gotten. The cases appear more than able to protect the glasses where I normally carry them in my shirt pocket, and even look like they'd stand up to the rigors of being carried in one of the front pockets of my slacks on days when I wear a shirt that doesn't have any pockets. The glasses themselves have a look of quality about them, and the understated elegance and simplicity that a gentleman appreciates in his eyewear. Each pair also came with a cleaning cloth that will certainly come in handy. I like the fact that the glasses have lenses that are narrow enough in the up and down dimension that when wearing them I can easily look over the top of them at things that are more distant because I really only need them for small, detailed close-in things. That makes them very useful for my work as a Pharmacy Technician because I don't need glasses to see the folks I converse with. I really only need them for smaller things that are inside an arm's length like working on the computer screen and reading the annoyingly tiny lettering and numbers on the pill bottles.

It's a good thing these come in pairs.. because not long after I got them, I already managed to misplace 1 pair :-/. Maybe I'll have to put on the remaining pair and look around for the missing one ;-)Joking aside; I hate that I need to use these sometimes, but I do like that these work well and look nice too, and they were reasonably priced. I didn't grade the scratch resistance on these yet because I don't use them every day and I'd like to have some more use before I select any stars for that, so I'll come back to that part at a later date. At this time they remain unscratched though, so that's good.
