I love these door stops because they actually work like they should. They are just like the ones we had in school and public buildings when I was a little girl decades ago. They work on wood and carpet, and stay put once placed. That may seem like a little thing, but the set I sent back were worthless. Buy these if you need to prop open any door.

These Rubber Door Sttoper - Mulit Surface door Stops by Home Premium are very nice. They are a heavy duty Rubber in a off white color and they fit under doors space that are up to 1 1/4" inches. I found that on one of my doors that had are larger space the 1 1/4", if I put the stopper to the back of the door the space there was actually smaller, (someone doesn't know how to cut doors even, but what do you expect for a Rental) and it worked. So, yes these are perfect for what I need. AND they are a good price.

These are very sturdy! Work well smell a bit funky at first but they do their job and that's what I like
