Advertised as 3.0....They are without a doubt 2.0They look flimsier then photographed.Purchased these before a trip and now have to use them. I'll update this review after some use.

UPDATE: Unfortunately trash. Given the previously mentioned questionable transfer speeds and new developments, I'm going to have to go against recommending these thumb drives. The metal construction is flimsy and they didn't last long without popping out of the case. This is a solid way to lose your precious data. I wouldn't trust my data to these drives. They would be OK for throw-aways but I wouldn't recommend long term usage.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Had an opportunity to pick these up at a discount in exchange for an honest review. I wish I could give it about a 4.5 star because I mostly like them but there's one small hang up.Pros:Shape is fantastic - Small drives are nice but if you are working on workstations and servers, then you have a hard time reaching through a bunch of stuff. The shape and size of the large loop makes it easy to plug in and pull it out in crowded environments.It's thin, fits in your pocket or wallet if you need to.Cons:About 30-40% slower than some of my other drives.Rating 4 stars but will change to 5 later if I grow to like them more.

I received these items at a discount in exchange for my fair and honest review.These all came in one single easy to open package. (I'll post pictures on an update to this post later).I like the feel and look of the metal on the outside of USB, its sleek and clean.I was worried at first because of their flat design that these USBs wouldn't fit tightly but I was pleasantly surprised they fit the USB 2.0 ports on my laptop like a glove. They come preloaded with FAT32 and as far as I can tell the 16GB storage capacity is accurate (I haven't filled one up yet but when I do I'll try and return to update this review). So far I've only used them to create a virtual Linux environment to boot from for an old laptop and one of them has worked perfectly for that project.

I love this style of flash drives. They look the cleanest and are easiest to put on keychains. I like that this has a variety of colors and plan to use that as a subtle means of distinguishing what each holds. I have another brand that is supposedly 3.0 (I added a picture of them side by side). But I really didn't notice much of a difference in speed. Of course, if you do research on 2.0 to 3.0 there are many different factors that effect 2.0 to 3.0 and I think most of the time the price difference doesn't justify. I haven't tried the waterproofness of these yet, but like most things electronic, even if they are, I prefer not to. Unless it's a watch. I received this product at a discount for my honest review.
