SUN BICYCLES Trike Basket - Vinyl Coated Black - 90149

Basket was delivered in an open, broken box! All contents lost, except for a very dirty & MUDDY basket! Surprisingly, the basket wasn’t scratched or bent. I contacted seller regarding missing parts & they were “going to see if we can find the parts”. Never received a follow up email or parts. Husband made basket fit & we bought a reflector for it. I bought this basket to haul my 25 lb pup with me on a trike. Pup hates it.....

We are using this as a cover to keep our small pumps enclosed in the 2 baskets. Working out very well. Keeps our dogs protected from other larger dogs and children who approach without warning. The only drawback is the cost. $50. for a metal basket seems expensive. As a lover of my pets, I paid it to keep them safe.

This basket is for a Sun recumbent bike and is perfect!

It is a much sturdier basket than the rather flimsy "basket" that came with the trike. Very pleased with it.

The basket is quite a good size. I wanted it for groceries, etc., but also to transport my Scottish Terrier to the vet or other locations. Bought the mounting brackets and secured the basket to the back post of my trike, plus I'll use zip ties to further anchor it for safety. I've padlocked it to the frame as well. I previously used two small baskets with bungee cords but this is way easier for transporting groceries. A comparable basket for my Pashley (U.K.) trike was $250 plus delivery & taxes. This was a great deal! So pleased!

I love the size of this as it fits my trike perfectly and holds two paper grocery bags. I wish it came with a way to attach it to the trike so only gave it 4 stars. I used huge washers but not the best solution.
