Loving the Wayward Cowboy: A Historical Western Romance Novel (Hearts of Mail Order Brides Book 8)

This was a wonderful story of a young woman who’s life changes when her mother dies. He father then turns to a bottle to forget his grief. He then promised her to the mayors son to marry but she’s not going to have anything to,do with this. She then goes out to find a husband for herself and runs into a cowboy and asks him to marry her. To her surprise he accepts! As they get to know each other and what’s happening with her life the two become closer. Will they find their happily ever after to each other? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Deana had lost her mother and her father who has become a gambler and drunk wants to marry her off to the mayor's son to pay off his debt. His son Greg is a terrible mean person and is only agreeing to marry Deana to make his father happy.Gregory and his friend is messing with a female when Samuel sees them. He wants to make them leave her alone. The two turn on him and he runs to get away from them. The one door open is at the doctors pharmacy so he jumps in there and is asked to be hidden which Deana does. She stands up to Gregory and his friend when they come in looking for Sam. Later Sam thanks her for saving him and she ends up asking him to marry her. He does which makes many mad and she is told to go away from her father. Well so much happens and I don't want to spoil it. Grab the book and see what all happens and learn how Sam's first wife died before he met Deana.

It was a great story of one finding themselves backed into corner but having trust in God will be his will.

What a scary convoluting mess! Lots of action to keep you on edge. You can't help but wish for happiness for Sam and Deana, for all that gets dumped on them they remain strong.

I enjoyed the characters so much. The hero that was afraid but faced his fear and the friendship and growing awakening of true feelings.

The story was very strong filled with emotions. The characters were well rounded and it is a very good read. I highly recommend this as a must read.

A good book. Even though I was given a copy of this book by the author, it in no way influenced my opinion and this is my honest review.

It shows that good things can happen to good people, even over attempts of evil to thwart them.

This is a good read. The story twists and turns with a abundance of depth. It has a little different storyline than the usual historical with the heroine being quite unorthodox as she takes her future by the horns to shape it into something she thinks she can live with, and finds love instead .
