Good Product, That Stinks
This butterfly net is well made. There is only one unexpected problem with it: the slip-on rubber handle is made of "Stinky Chinese Rubber." It stunk up my house; it stunk up my car! I eliminated the stink by removing and tossing the rubber handle. In its place, I inserted a cork, extending about 1/4" out of the bottom of the tubing. Then I built up a wonderful plastic handle using Performix 075815116024 Yellow Plasti Dip (available on Amazon). Five to ten dip cycles is all it took.Message to Educational Science: get rid of the "Stinky Chinese Rubber" handle and put on a proper handle n that does not insult your customers with an unacceptable and toxic odor.

Nice net but far too short
It's very nice, nice material, good workmanship, as far as I know - haven't used it that much. It's TOO SHORT. You can't flip it over to catch the bug as with any professional net. As a result I'm still using a net from the university insect collection. Point of buying a net was supposed to be to avoid that.

My favorite butterfly net
My favorite butterfly net. Only issue is that it has a lifespan of 1 season. I have owned two, both of them having the handles break off at the connection points after one season of use. It appears to be a cheap glue holding them together. My second net also had a severe deformity with the way the hoop was welded, forcing me to use the old hoop for the new net. Unfortunate because it is otherwise a perfect net, and like the color and collapsibility.
