A must read for any student of geopolitics.
This classic, difficult to find in most libraries, has been validated time and time again over the past 100 years. A masterpiece of geopolitical thought.

Great book - Too bad it never arrived
I read this book a couple of years ago from my friend's library and I decided to get my own copy. Sadly, Amazon didn't deliver it.

Short but crucial read on foreign policy
An essential primary source to understand what is driving foreign policies and wars.My only complaint is that it's significantly shorter than I thought it would be.

Outstanding
A very good explanation of his feelilng that central EurAsia is the true pivot of history, perhaps delayed because of energy availability totake advantage of its geographic and central importance. Not a very good explanation for geographic history so far.

Very interesting and insightful prediction of the development of world powers in the 20th century. Perhaps we all really should be just a little scared of Russian expansionism (Crimea, Donetsk, South Ossetia and perhaps, Transnistria.). The Russian land power versus, now, American Sea power. And where does China of the 21st century fit in?

Well that explains the World Wars
Great insight into geopolitics. Given that it was written 100b plus years ago adds an added perspective for today's reader.
