Praxis Core Study Guide 2020-2021: Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators Test Prep with Reading, Writing, and Mathematics Practice Questions (Praxis 5713, 5723, 5733)

For me this was an important tool I used to prep for my Praxis Test. I give it 4 stars and not 5 because I feel it didn't help me prepare well for the essay part of the test. I would have liked ideas on how to write the two kinds of essays on the exam and what to look for in drafting up the essay.I enjoyed the explanations of the material that will be covered in the exam and the variety of questions given

If you have no idea of what Praxis Core is about, this study guide is OK. But if you compare other books with this one, you might feel disappoint like me.The math part is great, it contains all the key concepts and the Practice Test is just same level as the real test.The Reading Skill part is OK, but the Practice Part is too easy. It doesn't help to prepare the Reading test.The Writing Skill part is not sufficient and I can't find enough information to deal with the real test.

I try to get my teaching certification for Nevada, I think the book is really helpful, however, I wish the book can have more detail and more examples. For the practice test, some answers are too short and confusing.

Can't say enough about this, i scored nearly perfectly in reading and felt more than prepared for the math as well. Helpful tests included, if you buy this AND actually study you will be well prepared!

My daughter had one chance and needed to pass all sections to be admitted to her degree program in January. She used this to prepare and passed all 3 sections!
