I used this with a Demi permanent color. Level 5 beige. It looked great for about four weeks. As the color washed out I realized that my hair was very blonde where I put the beige color. I tried this again just testing my theory that this level 6 did in fact bleach my hair and the second result was a positive. It does bleach the natural color out of my very fine hair. So if you have very fine hair that bleached out easily when you go in the sun for a day, chances are this emulsion WILL BLEACH OUT YOUR NATURAL COLOR! As my hair grows out I still use this to darken the previous bleached hair until it grows out. I’ll never let it get near the roots of my hair or any I colored part of my hair again. I’m not sure how I’ll tone down my hair at the end of the summer but I’m guessing ALL low level volumes will bleach out fine hair. Mine anyway. (I left it on for 30 minutes )
