Easy to use and cute. Good value

Wanted to edit. It’s been a year since I’ve had this shade still hanging in the same spot above my vanity and it’s held up extremely well and I still love it. If your on the fence on getting it do it. You will need to buy the plug in cord to attach it to as it’s just the shade.It’s beautiful. I only give it 4 stars because the “crystals” are plastic as some mentioned so gives off a cheap feel but the quality of the look in the photo you can tell is beautiful. I was so hesitant on purchasing this because of the other reviews but I decided to go ahead anyways since it was the look I was going for with the cheaper price tag. It has a chain that can be pinned up I assume on the ceiling if your hanging it with say a battery operated like or you can twist it onto a pendant light and take the chain off as I did or maybe use the chain as well for extra support. I didn’t have the issues like others said about the mess of de tangling it. There was one hook hooked that I had to untwist to hang it literally took me 3 mins to unhook it and get it hung up.

First off, be warned that there is almost nothing to attach this to your light. It’s designed so that the ring in the middle rests on the bulb in between the bulb and the pendant fixture. The top stays up by means of fixed metal supports, which work well but might not stay straight on their own. I used a plug-in hanging light, and it had nothing to help secure it to the chandelier that would fit. I ended up using wire to hook the chandelier onto the canopy hook. If the light had had some additional attachment pieces, I wouldn’t have had the issue, but at least it was easily remedied. It didn’t end up being a hang it and go situation, though. I really like the look of it, I bought it to go in my nine year olds bedroom and she loved it. I really wanting something I could use a standard bulb in, but wanted something large enough to be the main fixture in the room (so a little pendant shade would’ve been too small and look odd). I also hate most drum shades. This worked out really well, and my daughter went just fell in love with it. I was very impressed with the construction... at this price, I expected some beads to have fallen loose or something like that... but it was perfect right out of the box, and even had a little bag with extra beads and rings.Oh, and don’t forget to get another canopy for the ceiling to hang it from (if you’re using one, it can just hang from a hook). I have to switch mine out because the colors are too off, but I should’ve thought about that to begin with.This is a definite recommend for me. If it had cost more, I’d have only given it four stars for the lack of attachment parts/options, but honestly, at this price, the fact that it has a means of attaching it is pretty good. Similarly priced items are often make of tinsel. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a cute, inexpensive alternative to a bare bulb.

I love the look of this chandrlier, I wasn't expecting it to be a real working light fixture but rather one of those faux chandeliers. But I used it without the wiring. It's just af beautiful as pictured but I'm disappointed in the size. I read the product dimension size but I really didn't realize just how small it was until I recieved it. Great piece and arrived very quickly.

Super cute, but def cheap looking. More suitable maybe for a child's bedroom. I'm still enjoying it in my room, a more mature adult may not like it as much as we do.
