I thought the book was great , however I do have one issue . I noticed a lot of grammatical errors while reading and incorrect spelling . When speaking about Onyx , Sonsee Seeza was referred to as JunSee....not sure if that was a mistake on the writers part , or because they didn't have clearance to use his actual name for the book . All in all , this is a great read for anyone who loves hip hop

I have read a fair few books on hip hop and this one is up there with Can't stop, Won't stop... great tales about two of the biggest names in hip hop.

You would think that starting a record label and promoting music was easy after reading this book. Believe me, it's a lot harder than described. But yet and still, the future music business executives will be impressed with the allegory's of Simmons and Ruben's tenacity to win in this industry. Because they are real life example of what it takes for a music executives to succeed. But you will be less impressed with their ability to do good, quality, detailed business.
