Tl;Dr - Not only does it help cut back the cravings in general, I get no nasty side effects and I can take an extra if the cravings start getting bad.Quick disclaimer: I am NOT a medical professional. If you are working with a professional healthcare provider, I strongly recommend continuing to follow their recommendations.So anyway, I've been struggling with alcohol use for about four years now. I made some progress on my own, but over the last 6 months, I hit a plateau. I couldn't seem to stop myself from going out and getting 3 or 4 drinks about once a week, no matter how hard I tried to fight it and alter my behavior.So I finally gave in and put together some cash to go see a professional psychiatrist. He prescribed me this stuff called Naltrexone. I started taking it, and it helped cut the cravings back a little bit, but I also got all sorts of unpleasant side effects like brainfog and dampened emotions. On top of that, the two biggest risk warnings in the paperwork were "liver damage" and "thoughts of suicide."So about 2 and a half weeks ago, I decided to stopped the Naltrexone and ordered some of this Kudzu Root stuff instead. About 3 days after the last Naltrexone, I started taking these twice a day w/ meals just like like the bottle says. Around lunch on the second day, I got some pretty strong cravings, so I thought "What the heck? It's just a supplement made out of a plant. What could it hurt if I take another?" So I did. And the cravings went away in about 20 minutes.Since then, I've been taking 2-4 a day (depending on how bad the cravings get) and I've been completely dry. It's only been two weeks, so I'm trying not to jump to any conclusions, but the results seem pretty good so far.I don't usually make a habit of going back and updating reviews later , but I will try to do that with this product because it has helped me to solve a really big, life-altering problem.

I’ve been trying to quit for a long time! I quit drinking once for 13 months. I started back. And I saw a video on YouTube about this root. I’m now a month free from alcohol no cravings. At first I still had cravings then instead of taking 2 daily i started taking 3 and that’s my magic number. Once i started consistently taking them I didn’t have any cravings or any drinks. I’m very happy with this product and will continue to purchase. I skipped a couple days and still didn’t have any cravings but I won’t do that too often. So grateful for these. I been drinking heavily since I was in college I’m almost 40 now. Hope this helps

After about 5 weeks of trying this, I just tossed them out. didn't do anything for me.

So far it's doing EXACTLY what I need it to do - curb alcohol cravings and slow the binge!I get anxious, I drinkI get around friends, I drinkI get bored, I drinkI get outside for yard work, I drinkBUT....I've been taking this for 4 days now and haven't been adding a drink to every moment as I was before taking it. I don't think about drinking much at all and when I do have a glass of wine, I don't down it!My only concern is I've been feeling rather tired and blah. I am on my cycle so curious if it's that or this supplement, time will tell.For the price, you must try it!

they definitely curb drinking cravings or at least keeps me from drinking too much when I do. They make me feel happier too, in general like I have a happier sense of wellbeing. I take the pretty much everyday. I’ve been using them for a few years now, this brand particularly, and never had any issues.

Doesn't do anything.

I started with taking a break from booze and researched this supplement. I took two mid-morning, and two around 2:00/3:00, so before the happy hour cravings. This helped me to completely stop. After about a month of no drinking, I stopped taking it assuming I wouldn’t crave it anymore. I was wrong, started craving again, started taking this kudzu again, and cravings went away. I stopped taking this at about three months of no booze. Highly recommend for anyone looking to take a break or quit booze!
