Walter Tandy Murch: Paintings and Drawings, 1925–1967

When I was a little kid a local supermarket carried a series of encyclopedias for children a book was available every other week. I remember having several books with his wonderful enigmatic artwork on the cover of some. Very inspirational for me as I grew up to be a commercial illustrator. Beautiful and haunting compositions amazing to me that old machine parts could be that magical.

The writers reveal much about this artist who many will come to admire and now understand!
