Wow this particular product worked exactly like we needed it to, actually getting it installed was a little more difficult than we would have liked. Our plumber had to take some time reconfiguring the pipe on it to get it to fit. I wish I could be more detail, but I'm not a plumber. It did end up working eventually. We just had to buy some parts to make it work.

I bought this to replace the old fashioned popup drain in my second bathroom’s sink, didn’t want to spend a lot on a sink that mostly gets used for handwashing. This unit was pretty easy to install. The worst part of the project for me was getting the old drain out. This unit was pretty much “plug and play-“ drop it in, tighten securely, done. The description says no tools are needed to install this unit, but I did have to use a wrench to get the drain in tight enough because I apparently lack sufficient hand strength. This drain is mostly plastic, so not sure how well it will hold up over time, but it is a good solution for my purpose.

I am hoping it will not fade or burn out, but only time will tell. Good so far

Haven’t had very long at all and it already broke when we tried to plug the sink. :(
