Neil Armstrong and Nat Love, Space Cowboys (Time Twisters)

In this 3rd installment in the Time Twisters series, step-siblings Abby and Doc try to save the moon landing by getting Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin out of 1869 Texas and back to 1969 to complete their mission. They get help from their old friend Abe Lincon and African-American cowboy Nat Love, who gets a first hand experience and heads to the moon with them ! A wonderful book featuring an event that is symbolic in American history and a figure that most kids, let alone adults may have never heard of before. All with the trademark humor and charm that Sheinkin is known for. A must read for fans of space AND cowboys, as well as reluctant readers.

My son does not like fiction books he says they try to be funny but they aren't and he loves reading about historical figures.He's doesn't like graphic novels at all. These series were a WIN he's read them all and has even dived into the author's other books. I can't wait for the next book to come out but more importantly neither can he.
