Small size
I was surprised at how small this was.HOWEVER. My isopods DEVOURED it.I have a pretty substantial collection (10 cultures)So I don't think this is feasible for me to continue to use as I would need a much bigger size, and that may prove cost prohibitive.BUT if you have say 1 or 2 cultures? Your bugs will love this!

Someone in my terrarium loves this stuff
I have colonies of isopods and springtails in my terrarium and when I put this stuff out it vanishes by the next day. The bugs are thriving on it.

Great for starting a thriving isopod community
Our Isopod community really started growing once we started them on this food! We also purchased isopod dishes with little ramps. The kids got a kick out of watching the isopods walk up the ramp and eat the food. We started with a few dozen isopods and now have a nice clean up crew for our bearded dragons and frog.

Easy to use
I use craft sticks to pour the food in little piles on rocks in their enclosure. When the rocks are clean, I add some more.

Isopods loved it!
This was the first food source to completely go missing after feeding it to my powder blues and oranges. However, be aware of how small the amount you are getting is for the price. Do they love it? Yes! Is it expensive? Also kind of yes when they could get my normal veggie scraps. Good supplementary item though for sure!

This stuff works!!
I’ve never provided extra nutrition for my isopods or springtails other than a piece of sweet potato here and there and whatever decaying wood/leaves are in there with them until buying this stuff for the first time. As soon as I added the isochow my springtails and dwarf whites swarmed the food and both cultures boomed far beyond my expectations in the following couple of weeks! All you do is sprinkle it on the leaves or even on a rotting piece of wood and watch the magic happen! About to purchase 2 more bags!! I started with about 20 dwarf whites i got from an expo and now I literally have tens of thousands in 2 separate tubs because of this product. I’ll stand by it forever!!!!

I should have bought the larger package of iso food because the isopods love this food. I have dairy cows, blues, oranges and small purples.
