I'm still adjusting to using a cup, this is my first one and I followed the instructions, inserted it with no problem although the process felt awkward. I would suggest inserting it whilst in the shower. Getting it out was the hard part, once again I followed the instructions and pinched the base of the cup, with a few tugs it was out which made me feel like I wouldn't be able to use this cup outside of the house. It was quite messy and as someone that suffers from painful menstrual cramps it's not something I want to have to think about or deal with. My hope is that it gets easier with time and I just need to become more familiar with it. I have leaked once but I've given the cup the benefit of the doubt and perhaps I have just put it in wrong. Overall, I think it's worth a try, It just may not be for me.

These menstrual cups are good value translucent silicon with the right amount of flex to be able to fold for insertion and let it unfold to make a perfect seal. I've had some bad experiences (avoid tulip cup / floweret like the plague, as they don't flex properly and are very hard to fit right and uncomfortable to wear - and their customer service sucks) but these are just like more expensive brands I have bought previously, and do the job perfectly, so I am happy to recommend!Menstrual cups are a life changer. If you haven't tried one, you should. They reduce dryness, discomfort and even period pains, and they prevent leaks much more reliably than any other option. I have variable and sometimes very heavy periods and they've improved my life significantly. You can leave it in overnight or for up to 8 hours, and I can feel when it is full. Once you get the knack to insert them - fold in half, then half again, and push up inside you as far as you can before waiting for it to unfold or encouraging it to do so with your finger - you'll wonder why you ever used tampons or towels. The cup opens to catch up to an egg-cup full of blood (much more than a tampon) and yet is much less uncomfortable than the dry lump of a tampon inside you. When you want to remove it you reach up and pull the little ridged stalk and/or push the side of the cup to break the seal, and you can pull it out and pour the contents down the loo, wipe or wash the cup out and put it back in. I find that sometimes I don't get the fold and insert move right and the cup will open at an awkward angle and need removing/reinserting to get comfortable. This seems to happen more on the first use in any period so I find it uncomfortable to put the cup in ahead of my period starting, but I used to feel the same about tampons. Because there is a bit of a knack to inserting it might take a bit of practise at first - but is definitely worth persisting with. I prefer to empty it where there is a sink available. I'm not sure I'd want to do so in a cubicle at a school/workplace/public toilet unless I had a wet wipe in my bag.

This is the first menstural cup I've owned. When I bought it there were only 3 reviews, so, naturally I was apprehensive. I bought it so that I could compete in a 2 day cycle event, however I bought them with one day to spare so didn't have much practice time. I bit the bullet and used it for the event... I COULDN'T FEEL IT AT ALL! I usually avoid cycling whilst I'm on my period, not to mention my heaviest days!I now recommend these cups to everyone. They are comfortable, cheap and life changing. Two cups are supplied for the price of one top branded cup.Obviously, these cups will not suit everyone as our bodies are different; but, I have never experienced a leak as of yet.I'm 25, no children and use the small one.

If you haven't purchased a Yoni/moon Cup, then I don't know what you're waiting for! these babies changed my life!! I've had them for a few months & get soooo excited every time my periods come around because it means I get to play with these little suckers!The cup is super comfy as I don't even feel its presence when it's inserted!Although there's much fiddling going on, getting your head around all the different ways it can be applied can be a little overwhelming or confusing but you'll eventually find your own groove with these.The only thing I would mention though is that for some reason, the last time I had used the cup, I leaked! However, all the other times (& they've all been a heavy flow) I haven't so it might be the way you insert it?Who knows!But would definitely suggest this product! these menstrual cups are super comfy & you get not one, but two! how convenient is that!? Also! They're not only economically friendly but also environmentally friendly as pads, unfortunately, are not recyclable.

This is the first time I have used a menstrual cup and I did not think I would love it this much. I was abit apprehensive at first as it looked quite big but once you get the hang of it, it is hands down changed my life. Doesn't leek, super comfortable -you can leave it in for 12 hours (put in the morning and then change it before bed). Doesn't have any odor like when using bars, no wedgies, no uncomfortable pain that you sometimes get with tampons which can dry you out. Works even if you're on a light period. Only tip I have would be to take it out slowly as it is quite stretchy material so don't want it ending up in the toilet but even if it does (like my first time) you have another one as a back up. Sterilise in hot water after your period has finished and wash in between uses. Price is the best compared to other brands and get a cute little bag.

I don’t like wearing tampons because I never seem to be able to get them to sit high enough in the correct position and I am always aware when I have one in. Hate wearing pads because I always leak or feel self conscious they can be seen through leggings, and can’t wear thongs. Bought this because I’ve heard good things but didn’t try it till after a few months as I was scared. Honestly ladies, this is a GAME CHANGER. It has literally made periods manageable and I don’t dread them. Can wear any pants I want on my period, NEVER leak with this, it’s amazing. Invest in one of these a it is well worth it.
