I use this for my Student ID when going to school. This is the second one I bought after the first one succumbed to wear that I will outline later in this review.For what it's for, it's a great product. Very simple to use, and the retractable cable on the lanyard is fantastic for utilitarian use of a card put in (though I have yet to try using any Tap Scan features with this, so the jury's still out on that, sadly).However, with the first one I bought, it should be noted that you should not wear the lanyard directly on your skin. Your skin will be fine, but the lanyard is susceptible to fraying and damage from oils on the skin. I also advise, if you are someone who travels from place to place on foot, to get protective sleeves for any cards you want to put in this holder. I took out an older Student ID to add in a new one, and found that it had irreversibly stained the interior of the Badge Holder and had several perforations in the card itself. This could be due to stray bits of gravel that got inside or some other reason, but better safe than sorry!tl;dr: As long as you take measures to protect your card itself as well as ensure the lanyard does not absorb oils from your skin (such as tucking the lanyard under the collar of a collared shirt or jacket), this is a very solid buy!

This is an example of truth in advertising. It is exactly as described by the seller. It arrived the next day after ordering and it was surprising how well made this product is. I didn't go into this purchase with high expectations given the $8 price tag. I was only looking for something that was "good enough" for work. It appears very well constructed and well made. It doesn't have a strong leather smell (good, bad, or otherwise). I just received it and haven't used it yet, so I cannot comment on its durability, but it appears that it should last a long time. It checks all of the boxes. Looks good, arrived quickly, high quality, and is low cost.

For an $8 product, no complaint. The badge holder seems to be made of quality leather. Not the cheap stuff. The stitching is adequate. Wish it was double reinforced, but seems fine the way it is. The ID window is a perfect size. None of the ID is covered by the leather, which is an issue with some other holders. I like that it came with two different attachments for wearing it. You can either use the clip-on for a collar or belt, or you can use the lanyard for around the neck. The lanyard has the retractable extension so you do not have to take it off if the ID badge also serves as a proximity card to allow you into buildings or secure areas. The lanyard material, in all honesty, is probably of lesser quality than the ID holder, or at least it seems that way. However, time will tell. Again, for the price. I cannot complain and I feel it is definitely worth the $8.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great badge holder. I am a third grade teacher and I use it every day. It is very durable and it looks great with everything. You can’t beat the price either and the quality is top notch. I attach my keys to it and it holds the extra weight perfectly. Would definitely recommend this product to everyone who needs a great badge holder!

This little wallet size badge holder is great for my badge and my access card in a different slot. I put it on a different clip and wear it on my hip. No issues given that I walk a lot, carry things, and get in and out of vehicles all day.
