This case is sold as compatible with Nexus 7 tablets (both first gen and second), but it is not with the 2nd gen Nexus 7. The primary reason for a tablet case is to protect the tablet, but this does not. There are several millimeters of the tablet that stick out from around the edges of the case (at least on the top and bottom). Sure, the case will hold it, but if you drop it on a edge, there is no case there to take the blow. The interior bezel on it is too wide, and will cover the front camera on the front of the tablet. The best I could do was take a photo with the bottom 2/3 rds of the frame. No hole on the back for rear camera. Access to the power and volume buttons are difficult as well. Part of the elastic bands will block access to the volume rocker.
