I believe the goal reading to children is to give them the opportunity to learn to love books. This book is the kind that leads them in that direction. Most children love jokes and having a book of jokes is a nice incentive to work on their reading skills.This book is full of silly and fun jokes that they can share with the people in their world. It also includes some mazes and other games. These jokes are actually good! All of the joke books I got had a bunch of jokes that weren't even really jokes. But this book has really good jokes. I tell my parents jokes from other joke books and they say that they are not really jokes. But I told my dad three jokes and he laughed at all three of them. If your looking for a good joke book thats free, get this awesome joke book. I was expecting to see a lot of the same old standard jokes or at least a bunch of jokes that would make me groan and roll my eyes as I read them to my four year old. However, I actually enjoyed reading this with her. A few jokes she didn't quite get, but she is only four so some of the words that were tough for her would be fine for older children. It was really great to her giggle and burst out laughing when she did "get" the joke. The jokes are listed in Q. and A. format one after another, they are not clearly divided by category though she will notice recurrent themes (weather/money/time etc.) for a few jokes before it moves to another theme. There are no illustrations along with the jokes. A few of her favorite jokes were "Q. What dog can tell time? A. A watch dog!" and "Q. What do you call a dinosaur that keeps you awake at night? A. Bronto-snore-us!" The book also contains one hidden picture puzzle, two spot the difference puzzles and a few mazes. It would have been nice if it included a few more hidden picture/spot the difference photos since it seems off balance compared to the number of mazes there were. I also do not find much use for mazes on an eBook, though my four year still likes to look at them and tap all over the screen. My kids are really enjoying this book. It has their type of humor and they get the jokes. Plus it also adds in extra little puzzles and games for them to do. It's good to find a decent, funny book for them. I really love our Kindles. There is so many things for my kids to play and read on it, decent things. Plus it's so easy to pair them together and share apps and books. I am glad that I got a chance to read this book to my kids. They thought the jokes were very funny.I received this at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I have read many of the authors books to friends kids and grandkids. Ages 5 - 10 will enjoy this book.I even enjoyed it, so nice clean fun for adults as well. As a few of the jokes I had heard before, but a majority of them were brand new.Bonus at the end of the ebook with puzzles was a plus.Highly recommend the book.

This is a great book that includes jokes and puzzles. The jokes were simple and easy to understand. For example, one joke is “Q: Why does everyone love cats? A: They are the purr-fect pets.” Young children will be able to understand the jokes and I think will find them very cute. On each page there were two columns of jokes. There were 4-5 jokes in each column. There are no pictures on these pages. I think adding pictures or graphics to include with some jokes would be cute. The answers to some jokes were not on the same page and I would have liked to see the answer to the joke underneath with the question to the joke.The book also included a puzzle section of several mazes and “Find the differences” games. These are fun games for kids to do. There are also solutions to all of the puzzles in the back of the book. One thing I noticed was on one page there were directions that said, “Can you find your way through the maze?” however the actual maze was on the next page. It would be better if the directions were on the same page as the puzzle.Overall I gave this book 4 stars because I felt the content was cute and engaging for young kids, however, there are several things that could be improved with the formatting.I received this product for free or at a discount in exchange for my unbiased and honest review.

Awesome joke book for children of 7 to 110. It's a great book, this book has "dumb" jokes but they are so dumb that they are funny. It's that dry sense of humour that some people don't get. I tried some of these out on my 5th year senior college daughter and she loves them, she is joke queen and She loves to laugh, I love to hear her laugh so this book fits right in there.The book is small and (Not a lo of pages) however there are pages of easy mazes to do also as well as a free download of more jokes.It's a wonderful little book. I highly recommend it. If it the jokes don't work on your 6 year old try them out on someone a little older and you may get a totally different response. How kids respond to jokes in general is primarily based on comprehension. So if you child is a avid reader, even if younger they may comprehend the book, however if your child only watches television and plays video games they may not comprehend some of these jokes.My grandson is in 2nd grade and home schooled he is an avid reader just like his mom and aunt. I love it!! My mom bought it for me! I don't get one joke though...What letters aren't in the Alphabet?The ones in the mail box!I love it though!! :-P

The cover looks so good but the jokes were very old and I was not impressed. Put more time into the jokes please.

i hate this book because it is boring and the jokes are old school.what made me buy it was the cover.they must have put more time and effort into the cover but the jokes the jokes are terrible they should delete it off the kindle store.boo this book.
