Excellent quiet + affordable keyboard for long hours of use
Wanted to pick up a membrane keyboard to reduce keystroke sound during recording sessions (while mechanicals feel great, even "silent switches" are very noisy compared to membrane). While this keyboard isn't 100% silent (no keyboard ever will be), it has a very unintruisive keystroke sound. Key presses are satisfying, and respond/react well to a good amount of pressure without any double inputs (I tend to press keys fairly hard, personally, so this is an issue with red switches, for example). The keyboard comes with two plastic stands on the back that can optionally be used to adjust the angle - though I've found the basic slant of the keyboard itself is enough to produce an ergonomic, comfortable angle for long hours of extended use.For under $20, this is an extremly good buy for a standard keyboard - highly recommended.

Ok so far
No complaints, but I really need to use it for a while and see how resistant it is to wear. One complaint - the 'for life' warranty is not defined, except that a period of '99 months' appears on their web site. I shall be pleasantly surprised if the 'E' key, for instance, does not show signs of wear after 8 years.

It's a solid keyboard for the price with a very good warranty.Keyboards in this price range (from reputable makers) are all mostly going to be roughly the same quality. For around twenty dollars you don't get mechanical switches --you get bubble membranes, as in most keyboards. Kensington executes that sort of a keyboard entirely competently, which is to be expected since the company has been around for a while. There's nothing outstanding, but that's a good thing. There are no goofy shaped space bars annoyingly small right shift or anything other little things to bother you. It's just a full sized keyboard. It advertises itself as spill resistant, but most cheap keyboards will rinse off fine and continue to work after drying out so that's less impressive than it sounds.Where it stands out is in the warranty. You won't get anything like it with other cheap keyboards Kensington isn't some fly by night operation, they've been in business for a while and I doubt they're going anywhere. If your keyboard breaks, they'll send you another one. That's pretty handy.

Not "For Life"
Son had this for maybe a month when it was rendered inoperable from a minor drink spill (life with children). It's just a cheap, disposable keyboard, but it's a bit dishonest that they pitch the "for life" nonsense when it seems to be no more resilient than any other keyboard.

Good standard keyboard
Good keyboard, standard size, good layout with the shape of "Enter" and "Backspace" keys that I prefer. The keys maybe don't have quite the amount of push-back pressure that I prefer, but it's in the ballpark. Otherwise, everything works fine and I have no complaints.
