Miracle RepaiRx Smooth & Protect Edge Control

I am a white male, and I found this product by accident. I used to use d:fi Heavy Wax, but d:fi discontinued it long ago and the struggle has been real since. I used American Crew Fiber as a replacement until I found this at TJ Maxx and fell in love with the smell and decided to try it. IT IS AMAZING FOR MY NEEDS! I do a "fixed messy" type look, and this stuff holds my hair in place all day, even in a high severe wind day. I can even go to sleep and wake up with mostly in place hair still. lol This stuff is smooth and soft like a pomade almost if I were to compare it to anything, but firm like a gel that doesn't run, if that makes sense. I don't need to use a ton to achieve my goal, but even if I needed to use a little more than I do, the price is amazing for what you get. I have noticed that my hair seems to be healthier (I keep care of myself and my hair, but this stuff seems to do "more") and grows a little quicker than it used to. I need haircuts sooner than previously required since using this product, and it's been consistent. It isn't greasy, and it washes off your hands with zero effort, and the same goes for when I shower and wash my hair, no left behind residue or issues getting this product cleaned up. My recommendation is get this product if you are looking for an amazing hold for at least hair like mine. I can't speak to it's typical use point / application for other hair types, but for my hair type, which is a shorter male straight hair, then this is the stuff you want for a great hold even in hurricane force winds! The picture attached to the review here isn't the greatest, but you will see my hair type, and the product is in use in the picture to give an idea.

Good product. Needs to be put on correctly to work well. Very thick and sticky so put some in your hand and rub together before touching up the flyaways. Does not leave your hair greasy looking. Does not dry out your hair.

My edges are thanking me for the switch to a literally cleaner and more wholesome smelling product. Leaves hair in a controlled state w out flaking .

I like this product for the great quality, amazing smell, and the No Flaking or leaving your hair hard. I find this edge control more as a Moisturizer and Repair tool. The front says Extra Hold, but unfortunately It does Not Hold for me Whatsoever which is why I had to take a Star because that’s what I needed. I enjoy the smell so much, and like the Biotin & Castor Oil mix enough, that I am staying with this as a strengthening agent.

My daughter used it on her edges (she has braids) it laid down when she applied it, but by the time she got to school it was already lifting. It doesn’t hold, seems more like a pomade than an actual edge control

That it's light and effective and doesn't leave your hair flaky or anything. And I love light fragrance. It holds, it's a good value for the money and a great quality product.

Tried this a few times and on each occasion it ruined my hair. I binned it. An expensive mistake. Same goes for TGIN cream.
