Worked perfect
2010 MKS 3.5 ecoboost, couldn't ask for a better setup to help with the carbon cleaning

Worked perfect on Ford 3.5 Ecoboost Twin Turbo Direct Injection
Used it on my 2014 Ford Explorer 3.5 Twin Turbo Ecoboost. Rotate engine until both valves are closed. Put adapter over the valve opening. Push vacuum onto adapter; it fits snug. Turn shop vac on; the suction of the shop vac keeps it on the engine. Then use sand blaster with walnut media to clean. Remove adapter, final blowout with blow gun, tape off opening and move on to the next one. No mess, no fuss, works perfect.Side note- I did scrape the thick deposits off first after doing the first cylinder. I found it was faster to scrape them out, vac up the debris, then walnut blast with the adapter to get clean. I did not use any chemical cleaners.

Perfect fit for Ford 2.7L EcoBoost V6 engines
Used this to perform an intake valve cleaning on my F-150 with the 2.7 EcoBoost engine, and it mated up perfectly with the intake ports. This made a tedious job much simpler and was worth every penny.

Works perfectly!
I used this adapter with a $70 Harbor Freight Pressurized Abrasive Blaster (crushed walnut shells) and the results were top notch! The adapter comes with rubber pads that have holes in them...cut the rubber pad to fit the intake port leading to the valves and then attach it to the adapter. This setup will give you a leak-free connection.

Simply won’t work
This needs to be able to attach to a shop vac to get anywhere near enough of the media out of the cavity. The opening supposedly for the shop vac is far too small. The shop vac tube about engulfs the entire adapter. Not sure if I’m expected to use a household vacuum for this but there’s just no way. Curious how many people have ended up ruining their engine by trusting this adapter. Bummer. Waste of money and more importantly, time.

Don't waste your money
This item sucks. You're better off making your own adapter with a modified Pee trap and a heat gun. The adhesive for two rubber pads that came with it is junk and even after cleaning the surface one of the pads came right off.

Worked Great on Jag 5.0 SC
I used this to clean my '11 Jaguar XFR's intake valves and it worked great. It's a supercharged 5.0L, which is the same engine on many other Jags (and Rovers). It covered up the ports perfectly while I was able to operate the wand. I used a ShopVac and HF media blaster with fine walnut shells and a modified air gun (I made a longer wand to go further into the intake ports).

Fits most intake valve openings.
Helps to minimise the mess when walnut blasting the intake valves, very expensive for what it is though.
