Minetom Outdoor LED Festoon String Lights 14.63M/48 Feet Waterproof Patio Lights with 15 Shatterproof Bulbs, Commercial Hanging Lights for Backyard, Porch, Bistro Party, Warm White

I bought these to go around the edge of a patio while socialising outdoors in the evening. I use them as the only light source, and they are a nice brightness - not so dark you can't see anything, but not so bright you feel floodlit. The included lamps have a glass globe and LED filaments and look good quality. There is one lamp spare. The cable string looks well made - 0.75mm2 copper conductors with the lamp holders about 3ft apart on about 4in drops. The holders are E27 type and look well made with brass/copper connectors. I found the plug to first lamp distance rather short at around 3ft but you can always use a waterproof junction box to extend this. There is a screw thread and waterproof "bung" at each end so they can be daisychained (the plug is connected to a short wire with the female "bung" end on it that then connects to the chain). I would change the supplied 13A fuse in the plug for a 3A as 2Wbulbs x 15 bulbs = 30W (so just over 0.1A per chain). Overall these look solidly built and should last a number of years outside in the elements. I liked them so much I bought a second set.

They came with 16 bulbs (1 spare ) which seemed to be plastic , there were 15 bulbs each 2 watts giving a warm glow. I wired mine into the house by cutting off the uk plug , then reconnecting the plug for a internal house socket. Very pleased with them.Added note-- the S14 bulbs appear to be 230v, there's no transformer on the plug so the whole system must be 230v? Also there was a 13Amp fuse and images say the fuse is 125v 8 Amp. The notes say these are dimmable but I suspect they are not. I've now wired these to 230v ,they seem ok so far but lots of confusion here and needs to be cleared up with an answer from the supplier.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought these to light up the pergola and wasn’t sure if I’d need one or 2 strings as a combined 30 watts doesn't sound enough for a 4 x 3 mtr areaI was so glad I only bought one as they are more than bright enoughThey are extremely well made and easy to install, they seem waterproof and as mentioned each 2 watt bulb gives off a good amount of lightReally pleased I bought these

I would give these more stars if I could what fantastic value these are super quality product. So impressed in fact pictures don’t do them justice as we sat outside till 12.30am last night. Had them on for 4 hours and still cool to touch. Perfect for a static or lodge. Ours is 40ft we was able to have one bulb round back before cable through bedroom window., you will not be disappointed with these lights.and one spare bulb included. Can’t wait to buy more for garden at home next

Nice looking lights I purchased 2 sets to link together. Only disappointment is the bulbs. The advertisement states that the bulbs are shatterproof. They are normal glass bulbs as I found to my dismay as two broke instantly with minimal contact.One of the reasons I purchased this item was the shatterproof bulbs.Apart from this issue they look lovely and that is the reason for the low 3 star review.

Love these lights large bulbs, sturdy cable and lamp holders, expensive but with 15 led bulbs per string I think not to bad if they survive a British winter I will be happy, it took 3 sets to complete right around our garden but you can join up to 26 sets really lovely amber warm lights for sitting in the garden very pleased so far

Great product and a lot cheaper than others. Excellent quality. I did however find in hard to find an extension lead as the bulbs started around 1.5 mtrs from the plug. I ended up making my own though to solve my issue. Great quality and really easy to install. There is enough light created also to be able to chill out on the patio with this just being the main light source.

The cabling is good and seem strong. The main problem is the connections that are made out of very inferior soft alloy/metal that bends and distorts very easily. 4 bulbs also failed after 3 weeks use and a further 2 bulbs failed after 6 weeks use outdoor.
