Q: It’s only white light? How do I get red or blue light?

You don't get red or blue light. It is only white light. White light contains all the wavelengths of the visible spectrum, including blue and red wavelengths. This Abonnyc Grow Light works great! I used mine all last winter and have it set up again for this winter with some of my houseplants.

Q: If you plug into a time clock to run a schedule with this light set for color and brightness will it stay set everytime the time clock turns it on?

You can solve the issue with the interrupted power with some duct tape, two nickels and a timer (like the ones you might use for your Christmas tree lights) First notice how long the product will stay on before it the auto off function kicks on. Say it’s two hours. Now set your timer to cycle off and on before the product would auto-off. In this case I would set my timer to turn off for 15 min every 1.75 hours. Now depress the “on” button on your product. Press two nickels on top of the “on” button and tape the nickels down tight over the button using some duct or electrical tape. You should check to make sure the tape is tight enough to keep the “on” button permanently depressed. Yes, there is a faster and simpler solution that involves opening the casing around the circuits that cause the auto-shut off. However, anytime you compromise a sealed casing on a product you become vulnerable to electric shock, burns and fire so I prefer the aforementioned solution because it’s safer and just as effective as rewiring the product
