Great gift for Dr Who and Yahtzee Fans
Bought as a gift for husband (huge Dr Who collector). Unfortunately for this huge Yahtzee fan we have never played with it but it seems high quality and looks great in his collection. Even he box is high quality and I’m certain it will withstand time spent getting dusty on a shelf!

Fun game, quality pieces
I bought this for a friend for Christmas and they love it. The Dalek and dice look great, not cheap or flimsy. We've had lots of fun playing with this one.

Decorative and compact.
I loved this Doctor Who inspired Yahtzee set. What is nice is this Dalek no decorates our "nerd" room and holds all the game pieces within. Worth every penny in my opinion.

Great game but the score cards are too small to read easily
I played Yahtzee as a child with 5 dice, a plastic cup and score sheets. My son is 11 and he is a Dr. Who fan and I thought he would enjoy playing Yahtzee with the Dalek. First, he loved the Dalek! Seriously, he would have liked this game with just the Dalek. It's a neat model of the Dalek by itself and I could have given him just this.In terms of the game, I was disappointed to find that the score sheets were tiny. Seriously, I could NOT read them. I used my printer to scan and increase the size of the score sheets and only then was it acceptable. I'm 45 and wear glasses for distance so, believe me, the score sheets had a ridiculously small font but increasing it on the printer solved the problem. The dice have the numbers in the bottom corner with a picture on each side of the die (e.g., a sonic screwdriver, TARDIS, etc.). The numbers are small but readable. My son enjoyed the game once I taught him to play. To play Yahtzee, you need 5 dice. You get 3 chances to roll any number of those 5 dice to try to get a certain combination of dice. The objective is to have the highest number of points at the end of the game. To earn points, you can (1) have all 5 dice the same number and yell, "Yahtzee!" That earns you 50 points. (2) Get 3 of one number and 2 of another for a full house. That earns you 25 points. (3) Get 3 of a kind (add the total on the dice), (4) small straight (sequence of 4), (5) large straight (sequence of 5), etc. Anyway, it's a fun, takes about 30 minutes to play and is an easy game to learn.
