Highly recommend the whole series, The Thief is my favorite book and the series is one I’ve read more than once even though at least one of the books in the series has made me cry every time I’ve read it. I can’t emphasize enough how much I love this series. MWT is an amazing author and wrote a fantastic book that I read as a kid and adult and has amazing political intrigue in her world that I didn’t see when I was younger and I admire as an adult. She weaves her story with subtle info that you would never guess until it’s right in front of you and you are wondering how you missed it. Review: Excellent collection of short stories to wrap up several threads of the Queens Thief series. I wasn’t ready for it to end after Return of the Thief, so this book was a delightful bonus.

Fun to revisit world but not as good as the original series

Such a great collection of short stories and notes from MWT but it just makes me want to hear more! The Queen’s Thief books are my favorite books and we have multiple copies of both digital and bound. If I don’t have anything new I want to read I’ll start one of these books. It doesn’t matter which one because they are all wonderful!

The book came on time and in good condition, but I feel as though she ruined the series with this one. There are so many plot holes that she creates and while seeing the background of some of these characters is nice, I would've like to see the series built in more of a forward direction. The last story is sad. Maybe I don't like this book only because it feels like a farewell to a book series I enjoy and characters I love. Beyond that, it is well written and appropriate for the recommended age group.
