Open top and no string or loosening grip
Seems counter intuitive to havena hole in the top of the filter causing most water to bypass the filter fabric. Also no string or other method to help pull the filter out of the filter holder.

The hole in the top is a must for m Aqua Tera Spa. the one supplied with spa had solid top.. and also, THERE IS NO WAY TO GET THE FILTER OUT BECAUSE THERE IS NO HANDLE ON THE FILTER. I HAD TO CUT IT OUT AND IT TOOK 2 DAYS. THEN I MADE A TOOL FOR NEXT TIME.

Works in my spa, fix required.
There is a hole at the top of the filter in order for it to work in my spa that hole must be covered. I used a flat piece of plastic that I stuck to the top with silicone. Works great, next version I'm thinking of adding a string through the top to make it easier to screw in and screw out, just like what the OEM filter has.
