Abstract Acrylics: New approaches to painting nature using acrylics with mixed media

I really like this book. Only criticism is the need to spend a lot of money on different paint ( 'heavy body, 'fluid', 'airbrush' and spray paint) if you want to follow the author's examples. However, will use some of the techniques described.

Great book... haven't had a chance to try as yet but I notice there are no step by step pictures- only the completed one. I'd have enjoyed a dvd too but there isn't one... so this looks a great book but perhaps not quite one for beginners.

A tad more complex than anything I have done before but let’s see what happens when I follow the step by step
