I got this for my son for work and he loves it. Keeps his warm food warm and cold food cold.

I purchased 2 other kinds of this item (and returned them) before I found this. This is what I’m looking for: keeps something warm (doesn’t need to be hot, just warm enough to be eaten at like 11 am), and easy for a 5 yr old to open. The other ones I purchased I realized were twist off and quite hard to open. And both of those were not warm at 11 am!! I was shocked when this thing worked bc of my prior experience with the other 2 kinds. I have not tested the cold. Only the hot. Because that’s all I wanted it for. I’m so happy with this purchase. I would like to add that I boiled water before hand (bc I was already making tea) and put the boiling water in it and let it sit for a bit. Then opened it up, poured out the water, then put the hot food in it. This was like 7 am. By 11, I took it out and felt it and it was still warm! A success! I really hope my review goes with the product - Arctic zone leak proof thermal vacuum hot cold container. Bc I hate when I read a review and it’s like “best hair product ever” for like a rug or something.

I loved this little thermos , especially because it is stainless steel, a good respectable brand and not another cheap questionable quality product. Most importantly my little kids can open it without help at school.I only took off 1 star because it doesn't keep the food nice and hot, just luke warm. But it's better than entirely room temp food, I guess. I will take that!Also, I can pour hot mac and cheese or pasta without worrying about plastic in the food. It's leak proof too. Overall a nice product. I bought 2 for each of my kids. I recommend this.

Food gets cold in less time. Not easy to close the lid even for grownup.

Lid is not good hard to close , i put boiling water to up the container still food was barely warm aftrr even 3 hours

My son has been using this container for lunch daily for about 8 weeks. It never leaks even though it is sometimes upside down in his lunch box because of the way he stores things in his locker. We pack his lunch at 6:00AM and it is still warm at lunch 5.5 house later. It is easy for him to open (which is great because he can struggle with fine motor activities like opening things!) It fits most cans of soup (sometimes I have a couple of tablespoons that don’t fit and I just dump that part.)

I'd research extensively and found this to be perfect! Loved the the wide opening (possibly the widest in the market) and just enough depth to hold about a bowl of hot food. When I pre-heat the bowl with hot water for 5 minutes and warm the food hot enough, my daughter complained that the food was actually too hot during lunch. Prepare the hot lunch in the morning around 8 and lunch was at 11.30, so the food was steaming hot or (if I don't preheat the container) just hot enough to have a warm lunch meal. No issue with leaking. I was concerned about the difficulty of closing the lid (like some previous post) but I did NOT have any issue at all; my daughter had no issue either. Perfect size for a small hot lunch for kids school. Will definitely buy again!

Es grande la tapa,no le cabe demasiado pero está bien tiene espacio para 4 quesadillas o un hot dog cortado por la mitad es para el lonche de la escuela dice ella que si llegan calientes despues de 4 horas además que no batalla para abrirlo con otros que tenemos de otra marca que son de rosca se aprietan con el calor y no podía abrirlos, recomendable

I followed all the tips I found on earth to try improving the length of which it could keep my food warm. They all failed. I filled the tub with hot boiling water before use, and my food (rice, or stir fry) is stinking hot. After 3 hours, the food took out is luke warm at best. Very disappointed! Too expensive and there are so many cheaper varieties of Thermos brand that work 100 of times better.

Used it for childs lunch - hot meal turns luke warm in a few hours and cannot be used in dishwasherNo problem with sealing - no leaks. Would not buy it again for hot lunches.
