Superga 2750 COTU Classic

I bought this in a larger size as suggested. I wanted something with no arch support and that aspect of the shoe was perfect. Unfortunately that was the only good thing about these shoes that was good. I bought them to walk around Prague. They gave me blisters on both of my pinky toes within an hour of walking. Then they caused blood blisters at the bottoms of the front of my big toes and on my second toe of my right foot. Thank God I brought other shoes! I even used shoe stretchers before I left to help stretch them out. I chalked the issue up to my feet swelling and the cobblestones. So I tried to wear them again in Pittsburgh, this time driving there, so there was no swelling. After walking for a half hour the blisters started again on the pinky toes! I threw them away when I got home. Three weeks after returning from Prague, my big toenail and my second toe toenail fell off as I was just sitting barefoot. Quite a scary sight. I hope they grow back. Will not buy again!

Superga is an amazing brand and its shoes have great quality and durability. My wife loved this model and used all the time.

The notice read that the size should be smaller than usual and that was true. These shoes will make my trip a great experience.

I need to change it

I just received my pair of 2750/Classics in Navy Blue. I'm a female with shoe size 8 1/2, and that's the size I bought (39.5). These "tennies" are awesome, they look so stylish. My one comment for women is that if you plan to wear them WITHOUT SOCKS most of the time, you might consider buying a 1/2 size smaller. They aren't sloppy big, but without socks, they are extra roomy on me so I laced them tight. I haven't washed and dried them yet, of course, but there's ample width in the ball and toe box of the foot. They fit more like Chucks than they do Keds, if that helps. With socks I think they will be perfect. P.S. NOT made in China, hurray!

I have multiple pairs of Cote classics and these are not the women’s version, rather they are the unisex. I have wool Cotu’s with a similar unisex fit. I got a good deal, so I’ll keep them and wear slightly thicker socks. Still, it’s not the first time I’ve had this issue.

This is a great sneaker design but there is a difference in sneakers made from one Vietnamese factory to another. One color of the 2750 shoe will fit normally, with no problem for D width feet. A second version of the 2750 has a different serial number format and is more narrow and longer from the laces to the toe. The soles are also thinner and not as well made as the first and best version. My guess is Superga uses different shoe lasts - one for a European male foot (wider) and another in colors they think appeal to women more, thus more narrow. They should really standardize their product line better though I now know which colors are more narrow than others in the 2750 line.I would look at the shoe before you buy it or be prepared to return them if they don't fit or visit a Superga store if you can.

After TWO wears the rubber on the sides of the shoes began to separate and both shoes! Contacted the company, provided proof of purchase and they replied this was NOT covered by the warranty. Two wears and they look AWFUL! An expensive pair of sneaks and I am super gluing the sides down. Very disappointed with the shoes and the customer service. I will NEVER purchase another pair.
