No more soggy wet mail 😊. Very well made and good quality material. I purchased this item for my garage door mail slot. During the winter time, I track snow in with my tires and run over my mail 99% of the time, most of the time it is just junk mail but sometimes I get mail I actually need : ). The snail sakk is a mail saver! My mail stays in the bag when opening and closing my garage door also.Update: 3 years later, my mail sack is still in place and still amazing! I've had some pretty heavy mail delivered and its still the same as when I installed it.Update: 06-26-2020 mail bag is still in place and I still love it.

This works so much better than taping a piece of bubblewrap over the mail slot in winter. The cloth bag covers the mail slot, and it does a pretty good job at keeping the cold air from flowing into the hallway (you can feel the cold air if you touch the bag, but it isn't flowing into the room). And the bag catches all of the mail nice and neat (and you can retrieve it easily too). So now when we enter the house, we are not stepping on the mail, it's not crumpling up as the door drives over it, and the mail isn't getting wet from our messy boots. I wish I had found this product earlier. I never knew it existed until I was doing some research online on how to winterize a mail slot.

Initially I was looking into some kind of box system, but no one really makes one that's good for residential installations, so I decided to give this a try at my mom's house. I was skeptical before getting it, thinking it might look cheap or kinda "how ya doin'", but really had no other option to try.I'm glad I went with this, because it looks great, is made of pretty nice material, and matches the decor. I'm really surprised at how well the adhesive on the velcro strips works. Now, my elderly mom doesn't have to go picking up things off the floor. I'd definitely recommend this for any door mail slot.

I feel it’s still super expensive for what it is- I seriously could have sewed up something similar for a quarter of the price, however, it totally works and has kept my dog from destroying the mail! I will say the stickiness of the Velcro to the door is terrible. I travel for months at a time and my plan is to take it off when I travel so the mail doesn’t collect. I’ve already taken it off once and it pulled off the whole Velcro strip including the part that’s supposed to stay stuck to the door. So I know the Velcro isn’t going to last and will soon need to be replaced.

I hesitated buying this product and I was not sure about either installation or if I could make something myself for less money . After leaving it in my cart a few weeks I decided it would be easier to try this and fingers crossed it was going to be accurately described. They make installing this product super easy and I did it myself and under five minutes with everything being perfect. Adding that not only is it sturdy and doing a great job, it is aesthetically pleasing too! Bummed I waited a few weeks to place the order as I was tired of picking me up from the floor. This is truly a great product for a good value and super easy to install!! ❤️

This catcher is really a great invention. The only problem is that once a week I get a newspaper insert and a lot of unwanted catalogs which fill it up very quickly. I don't think it will hold a week's worth of mail when I'm away but I'll know better in a couple of weeks. I've been using it about a month now and really love it. It sticks to the garage door even when it's full and I raise the door for outside access. I wish it would hold a bit more but it solved a problem I've had for many years - what to put under the mail slot to catch the mail? Problem solved!!!

Perfect solution for the garage door mail slot I just installed today. The "Velcro" had very sticky adhesive, so installation seemed robust enough. Materials seem high quality. Looks great, although not so important for inside the garage. Received my first mail delivery this afternoon in the Sakk and it held several envelopes and a couple of catalogs. Easy enough to extract the mail without having to separate the "Velcro" attachment.

Wow 👏! This was so much nicer than I expected it to be. My mail slot is in our garage. I feel bad at how quickly it's going to get dirty.It's very well maid and good quality fabric and embroidery.Installed in like 2 mins. Most time in cleaning the metal on the garage.Day 1 works like a charm!

I needed something to save my post being eaten by my Rottweiler puppy but a cage would be too big and to be honest I find them a bit ugly. This fits in perfectly with my decor, hasn't ruined the door and best of all means my post arrives in one piece.Although it isn't dog proof it has meant the post is no longer seen by my puppy and therefore he isn't worried by it. It also makes the post quieter so he doesn't even get up to look for the postman anymoreHappy postman, happy puppy and a very happy me!!!

I bought this for two reasons: to deter the dogs & stop draughts. It is brilliant for stopping the draughts from the letter box and looks nice. I do have a box outside but for some reason the unregular or new postmen seem to ignore it but the dogs only pull it off if they happen to be next to the front door, lying in wait. So far they haven’t destroyed it and SnailSakk lives to fight another day. A brilliant, practical product. You can buy extra strips if needed and it is also washable. It was also very easy for a dim blonde to fit.

This is fantastic. I have an 8 year old dog that likes to pull the post out of the letterbox. I also have a 1 year old puppy who likes to tear the letters up to shreds and eat them. I did not want a large cage on the back of the door. So I thought I would try this first. It looks really good quality, a faux suede material and is very good quality. When the post is delivered, the dogs bark like mad and then it goes quiet. Like another reviewer said, because they can't see it, they don't bother to jump up and rip it off. I am very impressed.and would definitely recommend.

Really rate this product. We had to purchase this after we found a few letters ripped to pieces by our young puppy and meant that we needed a solution fast. We knew that you could purchase mail catcher but expected them all to be cages that just wouldn’t work with the space we had. My fiancé then found this, and we decided to take a risk and it was 100% worth it. It’s really good quality and attached really easy and best of all our post is now always in tact when we arrive home! Great purchase, would definitely recommend to anyone.

Good so far. Our door is not flat so adhering the velcro strips made things easier than other types of fixing. Appears more than strong enough.The sakk covers the letter hole we had enlarged to make it easier for postie. It provides some draft exclusion properties and catches the mail.Does require checking. A design addition that would help is a small clear 'window' area on the lower back part so you can see when you have mail more easily.
