Absolutely the best thing I have bought this year. I'm a shift worker, and knew that it was hard for me to get to sleep when it was light, but didn't not know that the light is what was waking me up repeatedly through the 'night'. I now sleep soundly. Such a simple, cheap remedy- no drugs needed.The mask itself is soft and conforms to my face- I'm a side and stomach sleeper, so about 60% of the time it's fallen off by the morning, but stays for most of the night. It feels like foam with a satin fabric sealed on. It will probably not last all that long, but when this one goes, I will happily buy it again, and again.

For the record, I bought this with my own money, based on other reviews. I received no discount to review this. After one night's use I am pretty disappointed with this sleep mask. First, the velco strap tangled in my hair and was bulky/uncomfortable. I woke up in the middle of the night and found its location was causing a fair amount of pain along the top of my ear.I also found it did not do a very good job of blocking out light at all. Despite various attempts to adjust it a fair amount of light came in through the nose ridge, particularly if I tried sleeping on my side as I usually do. So while I appreciated the curved domes for the eyes, which was nicer than wearing a flat basic mask, my simple silk mask does a better job of blocking out light.Overall I would not recommend this product and I definitely don't feel it was worth the money. I'm not sure if I'll give it another try or not; maybe it just wasn't shaped well for my head?

I thought I liked it when I got it. What I liked was the softness of how it felt on my face, and that it didn't create enough physical discomfort to prevent me from sleeping.Then I discovered two things. One immediately: it doesn't actually block the light fully. No way around it. I actually had two of them, and neither of them blocked it, so I truly believe it's a design issue.The second is that it doesn't last. After a while, the fabric that is glued on top of the foam starts separating from the foam. Again, this happened to both of them, so I am sure it's a design issue.I would say: don't buy it.

Wash it first!I wear an eye mask most nights. I prefer the more contoured masks as they tend to stay in place through out the night and block more light, verses the kind you get on the transoceanic flights (see Alaska Bear mask). The closure strap is great, I doubt that it will wear out. My last mask I had for probably over a year (purchased from Wal-Mart) and the laminating glue on the mask started wearing away. I thought I would give this a try and so far I am not disappointed, and will see how long the lamination lasts. The strap does ride down toward my ears though the night, which is probably due to my head shape and the elastic strap can feel like it is cutting into my ears. So either my ears will get use to it or I might have to put some foam tape around wear it meets my ears. But any other eye mask will cause the same issue (I think).DO WASH BEFORE WEARING. I wore it fresh out of the pack and my gosh I had some red irritated eyes when I woke up! I have since washed the mask (with my dark colored clothes in a front load washer) and have not had and irritation since.Sweet Dreams

This mask is very soft, same feeling as a standard padded bra. With the adjustable strap it seems to fit just as tight or loose as I prefer. Overall blocks out all light other than the slight bit the peeks through near my nose, but I believe that will be different for everyone based on size and shape of your nose. Great value as compared to others sold Herron Amazon.

Works great! The nice feature about this mask that allows it to fit well is that the nose part is cut out. I have had other masks that allow too much light in because there is a piece over the nose. If your nose happens to be bigger than the nose piece it will hold the mask off and let light in. This mask does not do that. It works perfectly and is very comfortable. Highly recommend.

This is a nice, comfortable sleep mask. The nose cutout is perfect for making it fit a bit snugger, so let's less light in. The adjustable back is great and the material is soft and comfortable. Easily worn and slept in for a nice period of time. Feels durable, so should last quite a while. I definitely would recommend giving it a try!

Not worth it. Didn't even last three months. The eyemask ripped at the seams, even with gentle use. The airplane eyemasks that you get for just flying are more durable than this one.
