I had what I think is hard water build up in the bathroom sink of a home I recently purchased. Nothing was working to remove the hard, crusty build-up. And then I used this Bar Keepers soft cleanser. Sha-ZAAM! it worked beautifully!!! I'm so happy to have a clean sink FINALLY!

I thought the liquid would be good for my steel sink but the powder works much better. The liquid is a little on the thinner side (maybe a little watered down). Be sure to shake well. I find it works better on porcelain and pots that need a less abrasive scrub. Overall not bad, I guess I just expected something a little bit more thick with a little more texture.

I buy this instead of harsher cleaners (Ajax, Comet) because it is t toxic to my septic tank. And it works just as well. Pricier, but easier on my conscience. They now make it in a soft scrub.
