You get what you pay for. A good net that you can repair and keep for years.

A solid net for sure, just not very deep.
This is a high quality net, however, be aware that trout north of the 12” size can jump/flop out of this net fairly easy. Most of the areas I fish are catch and release so I try my best to keep the trout in the water as much as possible. Due to the shallow build of the net bag you definitely have to be careful. Once the barbless hook is removed then it’s fine if they jump out, just not before the hook is out.If I were to purchase another net I would purchase the Fishpond Hand net. It’s wider and has a much deeper net bag. Still an easy net to carry tucked away.

I use the net for wade fishing. It is an excellent net.

Exactly what I wanted.
Shipped fast. I have an emerger that was just bigger then I needed for trout fishing. Was ready to downsize. This was exactly what I wanted. Can't wait to land some fish with it.
