These are my favorite sunglasses.
I bought several pairs of these at REI over the years. I am pretty hard on sunglasses breaking them often. This brand of sunglasses seems to last longer than others I have had. My local REI no longer carries these so I bought them here.

Affordable, Stylish, High Def-like glasses
***Update February 2019***Coming up on a year of use, I found that my original review was a little unfair. These Pepper’s cannot be compared to, or put in the same class as Oakley’s or Ray Ban’s. I really think that the company puts out an affordable pair of glasses that are perfectly polarized with some style. My Tortoise style ones are still going strong. I can report NO PEALING of the lenses. I cannot say the same about the “tortoise” design of the frame, however. The frame started peeling 1-2 months in. I do still standby my original claim that this particular design is not clearly visible as seen on Amazon’s pics. It’s much more dull, especially when on you face. Off your face and in sunlight, it’s much clearer. The design isn’t bad at all. I found over time that these are perfectly proportioned to my face. Lenses are just the right size and everything fits well. They’re not too tight on my face. Just right. They’re pretty close to Oakley Monster Dogs. The Polarized lens for the tortoise version is Brown and it’s actually incredible. I didn’t give any credit in my original review for this feature. It’s basically like seeing everything in HD. I work at a park and every color pops. The lens gives everything a little bit of a yellow look, but in a good way. When I take the glasses off, i feel underwhelmed by the reality of what I’m looking at. It cuts away the suns rays, but also cuts through thick humidity.Overall, really impressed. They’ve even taken some stones and grass from weed eating. I like how they’ve held up from above average conditions. I just think that Peppers needs to work on having their frame designs hold up better. No reason for peeling. They're a cheap pair of sunglasses that i use at work only. They don't really offer enough style for me personally to wear out. I bought these in Tortoise and you really can't even tell that there's a design. These are good for work and for fishing because they are polarized.

Peppers Cutthroat last many years
I've owned 2 different styles of Peppers Sunglasses. The 1st pair I bought were the "Cutthroat" and I absolutely love 'em. I lost those, so I decided to try a different style, called the "Nevadas". They had blue mirrored lenses and unfortunately the tint scratched off really easily. So, I ordered another pair of "Cutthroat" and when I was looking for the "Nevadas" to take a picture, I found my old pair of "Cutthroat" lol. The first picture has my 6+ year old "Cutthroat" on the left and my 6 month old pair of "Nevadas" on the right. They also offer a lifetime warranty which I completely forgot about. I'm gonna keep this new pair of "Cutthroat" though because there's nothing quite as nice as a brand new pair of shades. These frames are super light and float due to an inlay of foam that you hopefully can see in the second picture, so if you enjoy water sports or fishing, I definitely recommend these. Anyway, I hope this helps make your decision a little easier. For $40 I don't think you can go wrong with Peppers "Cutthroat".

Quality is getting poor
This is my second set of Cutthroat glasses, the first set were purchased from a local surf shop and the second from Amazon. The set from Amazon has a noticeable quality difference compared to the set purchased locally. The frames retain any bending on them (like wearing) and begins to get a loose fit. As they warm up in the sun they get very flexible which really becomes a problem after they are lose from wearing in general. The older set never did this, the frames felt much more rigid. One improvement that was made has to do with the durability of the coating on the frames. The older set had an issue where they started to peal and flake after a few months of use. With the new set, this doesn't seem to be an issue. All in all I would still recommend them compared to the "Big" brands. Plus for the price, they are a pretty good pair of glasses.

Great Sunglasses
Awesome sunglasses. The polarization is great, they are comfortable, and they float! Obviously at this price the fit and finish, the polarization and the styling is not quite as nice as some name brands, but I prefer to wear these anytime I'm around water to avoid losing my expensive sunglasses. With that said, the quality is still great for the price. I have dropped them in the lake and they float right at/below the surface so they are a bit tough to find but definitely easier to find than on the bottom! If you want them to be easier to find pick a bright colour.

Amazing product and quality
Amazing product and quality. They wrap around the face just enough to block light from the sides but no so much as to look geeky. Beautiful styling too.
