Excellent! Quite an insightful and thought provoking book in layman language. As an admirer of Sara Pascoe's comedy, I jumped at the chance of purchasing the book and wasn't disappointed. No complaints seller-wise. Delivery was done on time.

It’s very well written, with some real laugh out loud moments. It’s also very interesting and I learned a lot I thought I knew was wrong. It’s also very personal to Sara and shockingly honest. I very much admire how she is able to self analyze herself and just like the rest of us accept that knowing why she is the way she is doesn’t help her change any of it. I always thought if I was more self-aware, if I understood the mechanics, I could change things but no.A really funny book with some great insights into human relationships and her personal experiences.

I loved this book. Pascoe pulls from all sorts of sources--biological, anthropological, psychological, sociological (not to mention her own experiences--the autobiography part) to create a holistic approach to contextualizing and understanding representations of the female body--notably female fat and female sexuality. I want to give it to all my friends.

I bought this book for my wife but I think I enjoyed it more than she did, I learned a lot about women. Very amusing and a great read for both men and women.

Sara uses her own body and experience of living in it to illustrate the biology and history of being female, and does so with wit and charm that force you to keep reading. She then slays you with the injustices that women have suffered, and still suffer today at the hands of men and legal systems in every country of the world. Bravo!!!

Je recommande ce livre à tout publique - surtout aux femmes de tout âge. Discussions de l'évolution, de la biologie mais aussi de la culture et les incidences sur la sexualité, le comportement et notre psychologie. Style "chatty" et toujours avec l'humour. Excellent.
