Great clock
Set the time zone by clicking “mode” once, then press “set” until you find your time zone. (This needs to be on a label on the case or in the packaging.) And I had problems getting the suction cup to stick. It was suggested to wet the cup to make it stick well. However, when I did that and pressed it onto my plastic tub wall with a square pattern, the clock would slowly slide town onto a seam, then fall off. I washed and dried the surface thoroughly, then dried the suction cup, and now it sticks! The clock function itself is perfect! Excellent product that works as described.

stopped updating time
It worked for a few months and then stopped updating the time. I have atomic clock of a different brand in my house that updates time well, so that's definitely not a signal availability problem.

Really needs improvement, but I'm still using it...
I bought two of these as they are the least expensive shower clock with atomic sync that I could find. They really need to improve the design.First, the good:1. it's a shower clock with a large, easily readable LCD display.2. It supposedly syncs with the atomic clocks over the radio (see below)Now the bad:1. The suction cup screws on the back and makes it annoying to attach and detach.2. That screw is made of cheap plastic and snapped off the first time I tried it with one of my two clocks (other one is fine, so far, but I don't trust it)3. If you don't want to use the suction cup (or it breaks off), there is no flat edge on the bottom side of the clock and therefore no other way to stand it so that you could see it without jury-rigging a stand.4. The buttons are on the back so have trouble accessing them if you've got the clock screwed on the suction cup.5. The radio sync feature works very inconsistently, and it doesn't seem to automatically retry unless I hit the button to make it. I'm on the east coast, so I might just be too far from the transmitters (which are in Colorado, if I'm not mistaken. One of mine synced the first time I tried it and kept synced for a week, but it lost sync later. The other only synced once, but lost it the next day. With both clocks, I tried the syncing in the middle of the night, as documented, to improve radio reception.6. The instructions are hard-to-understand because of the broken english translation. All of that said, it's a cheap shower radio, so if you're willing to set it once and just read it, it probably would work fine. I'm still using them, but that's just because it's just more trouble than it's worth to return them.I would not recommend these to a friend.
