Hat came packed well and with no damage. Peter Grimm still makes a great hat. Fits well and looks great with a little fine tuning. Very happy with this purchase.

The style is awesome! Sadly, this "one size fits most" thing is just too snug for my average sized head. I thought it might stretch out over time, but after several months I passed it on to a lady with a smaller noggin. She loves it and looks great in it!But I am without a cool hat to wear. Oh well...

So, although it is black it's not super hot because the weave is not super tight. It has a built-in elastic-style headband, which not only keeps perspiration out of your eyes, but it also allows for a flexible size range when it come to fit. Most fitted hats with an interior headband, fit one size and one size only... Not this hat, which makes it fit equally well whether you're head is shaved or you have a thick mop of hair, or even if you like to wear a bandanna under your hat... this hat, in most cases will still fit comfortably. Unfortunately, because these Grimm hats are made of a wider weave straw they're not as durable as say a tight-weaver harder hat... an nowhere near as durable as hats made from felt, leather, etc. But otherwise, it's an awesome hat for the money!

It was stuffed in box, bent out of shape and is chap , no way worth the price . Now I have to return the thing . DONT WASTE TIME

I bought for my husband and wanted to love it but the first hat we got (in dark brown) came absolutely crushed. a replacement and didn’t get the same color hat and it appears used. Had to send it back as well so unfortunately- no hat for him. The color of the first one that we ordered was a great color and would have been awesome if it was able to be reshaped.

I haven’t put this hat through the field test yet. I will subject this hat to wind, rain, sunshine, saltwater, and lots of partying. I was satisfied with delivery and packaging. I received the hat and it was not damaged. That was a plus. The hat looked great and fit perfectly. Now if it’ll just withstand the partying.

The photos of the hat show a slight tea-stain or distressed, faded look. In reality the hat is solid brown. Not natural straw but just brown, no fading or tea stained look. I was disappointed when it arrived because it didn’t match my expectations but it’s grown on me. It’s light, very breathable, keeps my neck out of the sun.

I got this for my bald brother and he loves it! The band inside is very soft and the straw is sleek and tightly woven so it doesn't scratch his head or let in light. He's very happy with his new golfing hat!
