Savage Queen (The Dark Elite Book 3)

I have loved The Dark Elite series, it's such a powerful combo of mafia, action, steam, and characters growing into who they're supposed to be. With it all balanced together in Ms. Ashwood's fantastic writing. I can't read truly dark books but I love mafia books and The Dark Elite series has been one that I've been able to enjoy without it being overwhelmed with the darker aspects of mafia life while acknowledging that mafia life is also not roses and sunshine.Savage Queen picks up where Ruthless Knights left us. We know who the traitor is in the Novak Syndicate. We also know who's behind everything that's been happening and Grace and her guys are reeling. I don't want to get into the nitty gritty of those in case someone's reading this review before starting the series but I will say that the guys bring Grace fully to the table and she steps up to the plate.Speaking of stepping up, Grace started this series as a kidnapped woman who showed flashes of strength. She's ending this series truly as a mafia queen, equal to her guys. She also makes choices in this book to protect the guys that really underscore how much she's grown as a character.The guys, since this is a romance, add the remaining pieces to their relationship building in this book. Ciro especially has come so far by the end of the story. In Savage Queen there's time with each guy and there's group time...not around a table talking about the syndicate if you know what I mean.We get a peek at the end of future Grace and it was perfect and made me incredibly happy. I can see myself rereading this one for a long time to revisit these characters.

What a great conclusion! It had everything and the characters really start to open and trust each other the way it always needed to be. You have some twists and turns, but that is not a shocker with Eva as the writer. This was my first series from her and will not be my last. Like I said in my previous posts, I am not a fan of mafia, but there was everything which made it hard not to love. Oh, and there is a bonus scene you can download on the last page. So, don't miss out.

This was a good series. It’s described as dark but I honestly didn’t think it was that dark. There are a few potential triggers for people mostly related to violence.I loved seeing Grace’s relationships with the guys develop and grow throughout the series but especially in this book. There’s a pretty big surprise/twist in this book which kept it interesting. Loved the bonus scene to get a glimpse into the future.

I finished the trilogy in 1,5 days. It was flowing so smoothly and getting me into all the main characters’ mindset that I actually didn’t want it to end. The epilogue was great but then I downloaded the bonus epilogue too (which was exactly what I was hoping by the way 😉), that’s how much I didn’t want it to end. I recommend this series to anyone who loves mafia romance books with reverse harem fun 🤩 I loved it ❤️🔥

It was ok, the problem I have with this story is that it is completely unbelievable. I could believe 2 men in the mafia sharing a women, (1 being the leader) but 4???? 🤔There has to be a damn good reason for this to happen and IMO this story didn’t give it to me. The story was mediocre at best, it is definitely not the worse RH I’ve read that’s for sure. Would I recommend this story? Probably not.

Let’s get all the technical stuff out of the way. Editing was really good, which is important to keep our head in the book. Characters have been built up throughout these 3 books that you have a sense of what each person is going to say and do. The journey kept me coming back for more. The men are amazing. I think Ciro is my favorite. Definitely worth the time.

This is the last and most 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 of this RH Mafia thriller. Grace and her mouthwatering men confront the final threat to the Novak Syndicate in solidarity. The 🔥 in this final installment is what the readers have been waiting for.

This book was such a great finale for the series. I loved how the characters changed and helped each other in their different ways. And the story line itself was really fun and different as well. Fantastic reverse harem trilogy!

I love Eva Ashwood - I feel like like Eva gets what I need depending on my mood. I find her plots easy to follow, drama and angst is understandable and the heroines are always strong. This is the third time I've read this series. I found myself in a funk. I love a dark, dark plot but nothing was crying out to me... So I always head back to Eva!!This series is told by different POV's which I love. Like I said easy to follow all characters are different but go so well together. It's not as dark as some other series I've read... But this one in my fav's

Wow I have really enjoyed this book and the full series, this isn’t a standalone you have to read the first two books for the whole story.Great characters and storyline with all the usual angst you find in a mafia series, however the rival leader is not who you would think it would be... clever twist on that one.I loved seeing Grace, Hale, Ciro, Lucas & Zaid come back together after 6 years apart and find their HEA.

This book was incredible from start to finish. I love the dynamic between the five of them and the stark contrast between each of the men. The changes in the plot kept me on my toes and I usually find books quite predictable (not that I love them any less) but I didn’t see some big events coming. I highly recommend this book to any reader looking for a sexy, heartwarming and dangerous read with 4 possessive alpha males and a strong female lead. 10/10.

Loved this series from start to finish. Loveable strong characters and brilliant storyline. So many twists and turns keeping me hooked.

Loved literally every page of this trilogy , loved the kickass FMC she was a little wimpish at the begging but then found her mojo and discovered her inner mafia queen
