1/2 x 28 barrel thread protector. It is machined from US made steel to very high quality standards on CNC lathes in my shop. It is counter bored to accommodate barrels that are not undercut at the shoulder. It also has a durable Black Nitride finish. Length is .625" Outside diameter is .630 With a clean crisp knurl. 100% Made in the USA! Please confirm size before ordering. Review: Perfect Fit - Nice Thread protector. Great fit and finish
Fit and finish were great. Perfect length, although maybe the tiniest bit more of material at the end to protect the crown could be helpful. But I’m nitpicking, it protects the threads and as long as I’m not dumb everything should be just fine. 5 star product.

Exactly what I wanted
I searched Amazon for for thread protectors and had a lot of trouble with sellers listing dimensions. I needed a protector for my pencil barrel and I am SO HAPPY I found this seller. Pros: Made in USA! Excellent fit and finish The seller listed dimensions are exact Fast shipping (just as fast as Prime even though it wasn't Prime) Great price! (It was more expensive than the China ones sold on Amazon but totally worth it. It's still cheap) Cons: None. I'll buy from this seller again if needed.

Thin, light and just what I needed.
this fit my pencil barrel perfectly and weighs next to nothing. Ideal for a lightweight build and if you can't afford a compensator or flash hider for until your bonus check at the end of the year. I was not building a rifle like everyone elses and was not interested in extra weight. This fit the bill and the price is right!
