Like the cup for my coffee. It hasn’t exploded going from room temp to hot coffee/tea. I’ve heard this has happened and in the dishwasher. I have not experienced this. I don’t put the cups close together in the dishwasher. I have no chips since owning them. I did receive one broken right down the middle. And a piece was missing on the edge.The only thing I do not like about the cups. Water settles in the top from the dishwasher. Even with the setting on dry I still have to dump the water off from the top. Besides that I would recommend

Some of the seams on these seem to be more pronounced than others. None were sharp. On one mug the seam was pretty high. They had stickers on them Anchor Hocking Made in the USA. I like this style mug because the airspace on the bottom acts as insulation so a coaster is not needed. While the mug contents are hot the base remains relatively cool. Also the base and shape are less prone to tipping than some other styles of coffee cups. I really did not want to buy 6 of them but when 6 are $24 I can't see spending $18 for one. My old one I bought at a retail outlet and after 6 years it chipped on the drinking rim. I did without it for a few months but missed the overall convenience of the large mug and somewhat insulated base. This looks to have a little bit flatter base than my last one but should still work the same. Will update this if it does not provide the same insulation for the surface it is set on. My other ceramic mugs require a coaster to protect heat sensitive tables, counter tops etc.

Are the mugs sold by Amazon seconds?I have purchased & used Anchor Hocking's glass mugs for more than 10 years--probably much longer--so I am not only familiar with the design and quality, I still have 4 in my cupboard which have withstood my not-so-gentle use. It was time to replenish the stock. I was pleased to see that the mugs were made in the USA.I was NOT PLEASED to discover the huge seam line joining the 2 sides of the mug together. Comparing the new mugs with the old mugs left me in shock that the seam had grown so large and stood out from the mug, itself. Are these seconds? If so, I did not see this in the description of the product.Anchor Hocking, are your glass mugs sold at Amazon seconds or what are you doing today that you did not do during manufacture 10 years ago?

Three cups smashed, but I figure I still got a reasonably good price on the remaining three. There are no Anchor marks on the bottom but I contacted Anchor Hocking and they finally got back to me and said that many of their cups will not have the anchor mark on the bottom because their business customers (retailers I assume) prefer not to have them there. Some of the molding lines on the handles make them a little uncomfortable to grip but as I don't always grip them by the handle that's not a deal breaker for me. Reasonably satisfied.

I got my own set of Anchor Hocking really just to make sure my glasses do not leach metals and are toxic free. Disappointed (thats why i didnt give 5 stars). Otherwise the mugs are perfect.

Based on previous reviews I was a bit concerned about purchasing this set of glassware but I’m happy with the products I received from this seller. It’s exactly what I was looking for and the quality is good. Nothing was broken and it was packaged well. It shipped and arrived quickly. Would purchase again from this seller.

I still like the glasses that are very functional when manufactured correctly. These glasses weigh 1oz less than the older version which weighed 17.8 oz now only 16.8 oz. I broke the first one of six I received the second day of use. Coincidence? Also the edges where the glass halfs are bound together are sharp on four of the glasses. This makes it uncomfortable to hold. It's not worth sending back. I used a glass grinder dremel with sand paper to remove the glass burrs so I could hold the cup comfortably. My glasses weren't warped like some I have read in the reviews. I like the design. I wish they would get back to making them right. You know you aren't getting quality when you order.

Handles are all not smooth. Cannot grip without chance of getting a cut on finger

I’m very impressed with these Mugs, not only are they very pretty, they are sturdy too! The Seller even got it to me a day early. Very impressed.

First package was delivered with a broken glass. Easily returned and received a replacement.Love these glasses for every day use. Seems to be of good quality and can wash in dishwasher. One of the few drinking glasses I was able to find that was made in the USA.

Evidently these cups weren’t polished after they were removed from the mold. The handle is very sharp and makes it uncomfortable to hold. The cups are good weight sturdy though

These cups have two 1/2's that are then joined as a mid seam. I knew that I have other from this maker and the seam is smooth.. blindfolded I doubt you would feel it.. and yet these new ones are WAY MESSY - I wish I had thought to take a photo but I was too surprised and just returned them. If the seam was smooth maybe - perhaps - no even then I would not want to have them. Returned for credit.

The seams are so rough to the point of being sharp on these mugs that they're uncomfortable to hold. I've ordered many versions of these mugs over the years and these are the worst.

Official Anchor Hocking have an etched logo/brand in raised glass on the bottom of the coffee mug. The seams are raised, one of them cut me!!!! At the top on one of the mugs where you put your lips it was as if it was cut in many places but not broken. These are either seconds that NO ONE should sell or whomever is ripping off Anchor Hocking needs to be notified stat!!!!

I ordered a case of 6, with the intent of etching design into them. I received a single mug in a small box. The mug was wrapped in bubble wrap with a decal stuck to it that said “case of 6”. The mug is fine but I would not have spent $25 on just a single.
