Shock worked perfectly
I have an older Schwinn Rocket 88 stage two that had Rock Shock SID fork and rear shock. The rear shock finally gave out and would not hold air pressure on my last ride. After getting feedback from my local bike shops and online the Rock Shock SID was discontinued and there were no rebuild parts available. Rock Shock suggested contacting a guy out of state that might be able to rebuild the shock, but that was all the help they provided. Way to go Rock Shock! So helpful. Anyway, I had a local shop take the measurements off my rear shock for replacement recommendations. They said the Rock Shock Monarch or Fox Float would maybe work. I received quotes from $300 to $400. Not what I expected to pay. I found DNM shocks online and saw the 6.5" model that matched what I needed. I was not happy this was an Asian product. However, I am satisfied with paying the fraction of what Rock Shock or Fox demand for their products. To conclude, I rode 8 hard miles today jumping tree roots, rock selfs, and steep descent. The shock held pressure and performed as well as the Rock Shock that was the original equipment on my bike. I hope the shock performs like this for at least the next year. If not the one year warranty should supply me with a replacement. Overall I'm happy with this shock and feel like I would have been ripped off buying another premium brand.

Great value if on a tight budget.
Pro - Great cost effective replacement for a broken high dollar brand.Pro - light enough weight to be competitive will big name brands.Con - 12mm diameter mounting bushing!?!?! Really?!?! VERY limiting when the stock bushings don't fit your frame mounts. Industry standard is 12.5mm so almost impossible to find bushings that will work.Con - Shock seems to blow through compression travel too much in comparison to psi. Shock limited at 225psi and is still soft and bobs too much under meadium to hard pedaling.Con - Rebound adjustment knob works opposite of other shocks. Turning clockwise makes shock rebound FASTER not slower. Not that big of a deal but can be confusing when switching between different bikes.

one third the cost of Rock Shock's cheapest and it is the best I could have hoped for

Check your bushing measurements, including the spacers.
I finally replaced my blown out coil rock shox rear spring on my 99 FSR. I felt confident this was made in Taiwan where every bike component has been made the past 15 years... Its super light weight. Extremely responsive and has brought new life back into my 21 year old Enduro frame. My frame hides the rebound control, but I like my rebound as fast as possible so I'm ok with it.

Everything seems solid and holds up to some aggressive riding. Only has rebound but that's all I wanted anyway just a heads up if you want a lockout or anything. The only fault i found so far is the eye sizes are not standard so you have to do some creative fabrication (at least in my case) but measuring against my marzocchi, the bushings are about 1mm smaller. That came into play because my bottom mounting bolt is a smaller size and needed to use the bushings I already had.

They sent the wrong shock but...
It was the 036 shock with the dual air. It still fit so I installed it. Very good shock with great bottoming resistance. Not the lightest - an ounce heavier that the replacement X fusion, but it felt a lot better though the initial part of the travel. Used a couple months now with no issues and no loss of pressure. The spacers are standard to you will probably need a dremel to grind down. Only reason for 1 less star.

Works great!
I replace an old much more expensive one with it. This one works just as well and was easy to install.

Great
I installed this on my e mountain bike which came with a stiff coil shock. The difference was so significant and it made riding so much funner. I can't wait to get back out there on the trails. Great value for what you get.
