Good price, but needs minor fettling
I bought the 7mm one to convert a guillows kit to electric.Arrived promptly, but be aware it's in kit form. Pressing in the bushes into the plastic housing was a bit fiddly, as they're a very snug fit. Didn't need any tools as such but a vice may be helpful, pliers at a minimum. The motor vibrated terribly, with much of the power going as noise. I removed the prop to find it was way out of balance, so sanded down the rear face of the heavier bladeOne of the pinions is slightly off centre, so there is a tight spot. A drop of oil on the bearings goes a long way. However it still gives good thrust. Good value for money, but don't expect a high quality setup without doing some balancing first.Draws about 0.5 amps on a 1s lipo, rising to 1A at stall

Mismatched motor and propeller
Quality as expected, fit is a bit tight but for the price i cant complain, the slight disappointment is the motor and prop mismatch i received a CW spinning motor (black and white wire) with a CW spinning propeller…. I needed a CCW spinning motor (red and blue wire) the motors are brushed so switching polarity isn't really an option, it causes the motor to over work and experience efficiency losses in the form of heat. I have tons of CCW motors that fit this so no big deal for me.

Fit and finish is super bad. Shaft is way to tight in the bushings. I've enjoyed smelling my own farts way more then putting this garbage together. Dont buy and dont sniff your farts

Lots of work required to use this!
Product assembles easily. No problem.Problem is that there is literally no provision or suggestion for mounting it to the model. The molded plastic has a very unusual shape, and I am still trying to figure out how to mount it to the plane. The same products from other manufacturers have tabs for mounting.Very large oversight in an otherwise good product.

Seems to work but it's hard to assemble and has "iffy" quality
This power unit is difficult to assemble because it involves pushing/forcing multiple plastic components over metal items. In addition, the very narrow metal shaft included was damaged and had to be filled down to fit inside the provided metal collars. If you are not good at filling and forcing very small, pointy metal items, you might want to avoid this; it would be easy to puncture a finger while assembling. No instructions were supplied. Once assembled, when power is present the motor does spin the propeller.

Good but noisy
I found this motor to be nice and powerful considering it's small size. It's perfect for a small RC glider that I am working on currently. The thrust is very strong, however it is noisy, and the gears appear to not quite align properly. Despite this, I would still recommend.
