My children and myself enjoy this book

Ich habe von diesem Autor schon "Be Brave Little Penguin" und "Giraffes Can't Dance", die mir beide sehr gut gefallen haben. Das ist bei diesem Buch leider anders. Die Geschichte gefällt mir überhaupt nicht, sie ist nicht schlüssig, keine schöne Message, wie bei den anderen Büchern. Daher ging es zurück.

Absolutely loved this book, great rhyming story.

... it's an updated version of 'The Chimpanzees of Happy Town'. It's a great story by a great author and illustrator team but if you have Happy Town you have this already. The updated version has removed the early USA bit so now it's purely Drabsville. The title change keeps the ending a surprise for anyone reading it for the first time. The updated text flows even better and is even easier to read aloud and share as a bedtime story. The newer text is a more fun font too and uses bold calligram style words to help emphasis and expression as you read. A brilliant rhyming story with a brilliant message. I highly recommend this team's books, 'Giraffes can't dance' is a must too.
