Colman's Shepherd's Pie Sauce Mix (50g) - Pack of 6

This is a great value and arrived very quickly.

Easy to use. Always get compliment on my Cottage pie. (Shepherd pie is made with mutton). I add Worcestershire sauce or red wine to it. I also use more water to give more gravy. Sometimes grated cheese on top of potatoes. Excellent.

This mix is fantastic! Not only have I used for shepherds pie, but I mixed it into my beef stew recipe along with the broth and a dark beer. Best Stewart I’ve ever made!

I have bought this several times and it is absolutely delicious. I have made it per package instructions and have made it using a little less water than the package says and it turns out great every time. Less water makes the filling a little firmer. I top it with pre-prepared Bob Evans mashed potatoes from the grocer for convenience. Everyone loves it and asks me to make it again.

We suggest using ground sirloin meat. Buy frozen corn & peas to mix in. Slice up three or four fresh carrots. Cover with mashed pototoes (buy pre-made at market) and bake. Makes a delicious meal!

This makes a delicious shepherds pie. I don’t ever bother with putting my own seasonings together anymore now that I’ve found this mix. I always keep a package handy especially in winter when the family often wants a hearty meat casserole for dinner.

Easy to use product. I've made it using lamb, as well as a mix of deer and hamburger meat for a cottage pie. Traditional mild UK seasoning. Not overly salty/overwhelming. Good flavor. Have shared with friends and family with good results.

I made this with canned peas and carrots which aren’t as obvious in the mixture as fresh would be. This works well for people who refuse to eat veggies! Normally I’ll used instant mashed potatoes because I’m pretty much the laziest cook in the world, but this time the local store had their mashed potatoes at the deli for half price. Because my daughter suggested this, I sprinkled some grated cheese on top. Wonderful!
