Not bad!
It works and I'm happy with it, but you should know that it's very light and feels a bit cheap. I'm sure that if you throw this thing at all, it would shatter in many pieces! But if you don't, you have an awesome place for all your friends to charge their mobile phones!

Great upgrade from "standard" power outlets!
Whoever came up with the idea of the tower design for power/USB was a genius! This is a wonderful item; grab at least one, or upgrade your current power outlets, if you can!

Very compact and an excellent solution where space is at a premium, but there are caveats
I received this as a free review sample. I agree with all of the other five star reviews in that this is both a convenience and designed to maximize desk or work table space. I subtracted a star because the product description claims that it is a surge protector, yet no specifications showing clamping voltage, Joules rating or clamping time. Basically, if you are looking for a great power strip, this is it. If you are looking for both a power strip and a surge protector I recommend that you continue looking.That said, I do love mine. I am running it off an outlet of a Furman M-8X2 Merit Series 8 Outlet Power Conditioner and Surge Protector, so surge protection is handled by that device. I love the efficient use of space this 'tower' has, plus the convenience of ten outlets. Granted, you cannot plug in a lot of high power drawing devices, but for wall warts that power most consumer electronics these days this is ideal. The spacing allows for a lot of wall warts, and the USB ports are a convenience with overnight charging phones and tablets, as well as headsets and bluetooth speakers.A nice feature is the fact that you can switch off horizontal banks of outlets that are not being used. This is energy efficient and prevents the 'energy vampire' effect that too many power strips allow.While most of the strip is plastic, the cord is very heavy duty. In an adult household this should last years. With rambunctious kids around, probably less. Since I have a ton of gadgets this is convenient and despite shortcomings, a power strip that I have grown to like very much (and I have been using it for less than two weeks.) If space is at a premium this is well worth considering - as long as you do not expect a lot of surge protection.
