I already owned one of the automatic Senz umbrellas that I also love dearly. I'm a tall guy and I have some larger umbrellas that do give a bit better coverage but what you are talking about is carry weight and size vs coverage. Some reviewers have complained that these don't provide good coverage or don't preform in wind. I think they must have some unrealistic expectations. No umbrella will protect you if the rain is coming in sideways or if its raining so hard that the rain is bouncing. And I've used my first Senz for maybe 3 years and its worked great in wind.
