Peaceable Kingdom Pick Me Up, Piggy! - A Cooperative Memory Game for Kids

Fun game... love the way it encourages working together

My four year old granddaughter and I like the game, but since no instructions were included I had to look them up online.

This is a nice cooperative memory game for children 2 and up. I play with my car-obsessed 2y9m old, and it works well. Kiddo can set the game up and understood the rules after one or two play throughs, though it typically requires an adult to play (the cards require reading and number recognition). Components and art are nice, and the board is big which is great.Unfortunately it lacks the depth to truly call it a real "board game" in my opinion, as the only challenge is memory (and luck). There is no strategic dimension for a child to grow into. Contrast to, say, First Orchard, which, while pitched even younger, has a strategic dimension for kids to learn.

My 3 and 5 year olds are both capable of playing this game. It’s pretty simple.

I think of it’s a memory game it could certainly have more variations and additional stores. With just 4 it’s very easy for my 3.5 year old. She is still enjoying it, but more like to make stories of why they go to each store rather than challenge her memory.
